My FN 509 compact tactical has a magazine that came with the gun that holds 24 rounds. The other magazine that came with the gun holds 15 rounds.
That means this gun is a type of gun Joe Biden wants to ban.
My Glock 43x is another gun I travel with and a gun that a lot of people have. There is a 15 and 20 round magazine for it. This is also an example of the type of gun Joe Biden wants to ban.
Because I travel a lot, that means I'm in hotels a lot.
So I have the 15 round magazine when I'm carrying the gun, and then I put the 20 or 24 round magazine in when I get back to my hotel room.
Hotels aren't utopic fortresses where nothing ever happens.
In 2008, the Taj Hotel was attacked by terrorists with machine guns and slaughtered people all through that hotel.
So yes, I need 20, 30, 40, 50 rounds if I'm facing many terrorists with machine guns.
I'm not going to sit in my hotel room with no way to defend myself while I hope and pray someone comes to save me.
These things happen, and when they do, people need what they need to fight back.
Joe Biden wants you defenseless because he just admitted he wants to ban guns that can shoot 20, 30, 40, 50 rounds, and as I just showed, that's every semi-automatic gun just like the one I talked about earlier that I keep in my portable gun case.
It will never stop; there will always be a perfect excuse to enact more gun laws.

@@thiagotremea5554 I have a Taurus in .45ACP, the extractor broke on the third mag and then it would stovepipe at best. I replaced the extractor and it has worked great ever since. Its not my best pistol, not my favorite, but it now functions ok and shoots decent. I look at them like a project vehicle, it needs some work but you can make it function eventually.. lol

@@danielduncan6806 well this isn't entirely accurate as the code duello was extremely class based. Most pistol duels relied on both combatants being of the same economic class or background, it was very rare that your average citizen could get a politician to even acknowledge a challenge. Politicians did often duel each other over various things( Andrew Jackson is a good example) but it was rarely over politics. I do agree that it wasn't banned because it was barbaric, there were many factors at play. But it wasn't being used as checks and balances for the government either, as there was plenty of crooked politicians in the 1800s that never caught any lead. One reason for the ban that im aware made a large impact is the obsession of youths with dueling in the mid 1800s. Teenage duels became popular due to sensationalism of dueling in news papers and dime novels. But there were a litany of issues with dueling, and singling out just one issue is difficult. I personally have no problem with it, though these days most men talk tough but have no real conviction so I doubt anyone would ever challenge each other or accept if challenged.

In addition to having the country locked down for months, the Democrats have simply been eliminating all kinds of crime, like shoplifting. Murder is crime, right? So crime is up, and it's up regardless of whether or not some other crime has either been eliminated or actually declined. i like most of Biden's policies, however I also dislike Biden's stance on guns and how to reduce gun violence. The numbers are absurd, nobody can agree on one number of deaths related to guns. I have seen "at least 23 in mass shootings," with "19,000 in shootings" directly below in the same article. Let's be absurd, and more than quadruple that last one. 100,000 deaths related to guns. That's robberies, murders, mass shootings, all tragic deaths, all violent. 100,000 people. That's an awful thought, isn't it? What about the approximately 280,000 deaths related to obesity? or the 480,000 people with deaths related to cigarettes? or the 610,000 that died due to this pandemic? Gun violence is not America's #1 problem, but it is being treated with more venom than our larger issues ever have been.

I'm one of the few in NYC has been APPROVED to have a residential pistol permit which allows me to essentially use my pistol as an ornament. Outside my residence I am allowed to bring it directly from my apartment to a shooting range with no stops in between. I'm currently waiting for NYC PD to determine whether I have sufficient reason to own a second firearm.
