A fact that most people don't really understand is that when the US dropped the first atomic bomb over Hiroshima, they didn't have a second built in time for Nagasaki. I was shot in the leg and chest a couple years ago. Passed through my lung and exited through my back. They decided that all they really had to do was stop bleeding. The bigger issue was actually the shot to the leg, the bullet didn’t exit my leg and I had to get surgery to remove it. The point Biden made about it being better for the .22 to get lodged in the lung is so stupid, sure it depends where you’re shot but the vast majority of times it is SIGNIFICANTLY better for the bullet to pass through and exit. Also I was shot with 9mm

I'm a critical care doctor in level I trauma center. I have seen 9mm do a lot of damage and definitely kill. This is why I own my own firearms because of what I have seen and done over the years. What most people don't realize about the 9mm round, particularly the hollow points, is that once it enters the chest cavity and blows out a lung and comes out the back, it then turns around and blows out the other lung and comes out the front. Most people just don't know and appreciate that about the 9mm round. Just sayin.
Those 9mm rounds can only be manufactured in Australia. Congress should look at banning the importation of that deadly Australian ammunition.

A lot of people who want to ban guns have lost children, parents or friends in one of the thousands of mass shootings the USA has experienced in the last couple of decades. It wasn't ballistic gel dummies being shot, it was real people. Little kids in school. I don't suppose the average school kid's internal organs offer much resistance to 9mm rounds, never mind rifle rounds. Still, as long as it's not YOUR family members dying, your outdated and legally dubious 2nd Amendment rights are far more important.

@@davon6704 actually no it doesn't. the 9 mm has a heavy front end trajectory. once impact is made the 9 mm acts as drill rather than a standard ball round. there is almost no ballistic cavitation. the 9 mm ballistics are exactly why we made the switch. it was to maintain our adherence to the new humane warfare standards in the Geneva convention. people forget this aspect in regard to the 9 mm. they rather focus on the added benefit of an increased mag size and universal use for both novice and experienced shooters alike. cheers

I was shot with a 9mm round in 2016. It missed my lung, but DID exit the scapula. It hurt like hell, but only left about a 1"x1" exit would. Some cotton worked it's way out of the exit wound, but my chest wasn't blown out of my shoulder either.

Politicians should have to pass a common sense test and iq test to be in office because most of them are real dumb and don’t know anything about reality and are just scam artists
It's never been about safety. It's always been about restricting gun laws so law abiding citizens can't own firearms. People who shoot up places aren't law abiding so they are going to get their firearms either way. Stricter gun laws only affect law aibing citizens

To be fair, Biden didn't suggest you use the shotgun on anyone. He said fire it into the air twice. That way the Sheriff and his posse can hear the commotion from town and get out to your ranch in a hurry.
