Hope y'all had a great Christmas and I wish you all luck for 2024 (seriously, keep serving) And of course i THANK YOU ALL for getting this channel to a total of 140,000 SUBSRIBERS??!?!?!? That's incredible omg-
Not sure what else to put here... but yeah.... Hades ate and that's all there is to it.

He's an icon, he's a legend, and he IS the moment.... now come on now-

as a greek mythos lover, it does kinda hurt seeing hades as a villain. on the other hand, it’s an amazing depiction of hades and even if he is a bad guy, he’s SO iconic, and i can forgive that.
they villainised him when he was literally the only god nice to his wife😭 he was iconic tho
Same here!
Same here! Hades x Persephone are my fave couple! Everyone I know takes issue with the fact he's her uncle, but I always have to (patiently) remind them that the gods were not related in the way humans are.
I agree.
10/10 writing and casting. No notes
@@starringsnipsDon’t forget about Ares! We love a bloodthirsty, feminist icon ❤
Fun fact 1: Hades is not only king of the underworld but also god of riches since he lives underground he has access to all of the earth's precious metals and gems so his palace was so marvelous that the only place that could compare was Olympus itself.
Fun Fact 2: When he gets angry or upset his fire turns orange and red which is actually colder than his normal blue fire and when he gets happy or excited his blue fire gets brighter and more intense, meaning it actually gets hotter. So Hades teaches that positive emotions are always better.
Hades is also called Pluto which means riches and was a more positive portrayal in that name
There no such thing as povitve or negative emotions all emotions are important
@@PGbutalsofourteenplus Do I really need to put *It's a joke* or *sarcasm* next to everything I write?
Do you not understand the concept of positive and negative?
No one said negative emotions aren't important. They're still negative.@@PGbutalsofourteenplus
@@LewisRJHope Thank you.
I find it ironic in Greek mythology that Hades is actually a chill dude who is loyal to his wife
Meanwhile Zeus is out there creating demigods with half the population on earth.
Edit: Y’all I never said ANYTHING about the gods marriages, all I did was just pointing out how different they actually are in mythology compared to the movies
Edit 2: I'm just going to ignore the comments and hope y'all have a nice day
Now you know who told this story
Zeus, the god who couldn't keep it in his pants
That depends on why myth you consider accurate, even in some stories it’s not nearly as bad as Zeus.
I dunno if I'd call Hades "loyal" since he had a tone of demi babies too. All the "gods" did lol.
@@RedRoseSeptember22also cause he did kidnap poor Persephone 😭😭
The fact that in greek mythology, hades is probably the best one because he doesnt cheat or rape people 🤩 Hes a fucking saint compared to accurate zeus 💀
True, we stan Hades in this channel
Hades cheat on Persefone with Mente, a ninf, he turn her into a plant that call peppermint so Persefone couldn't hurt her
Well Hades did kidnap and rape Persephone when they first met but after it was good. Compared to other Gods it's a better story. There's one telling of the story from the 1950 I think saying Persephone wondered into the underworld and decided to never leave, but it's not the original.
And even the one thing that Hades could be disliked for (kidnapping Persephone)?
ALSO Zeus's fault, because it was his idea as Persephone's father (and therefore was kosher).
@@pinkh7375he didn't rape her, it's just that it was called "the rape of Persephone" when rape meant kidnap.
Without Hades it could be such a boring movie. He carries this movie so much.
YAS SLAYYYYYYYY
The Muses:
The fun fact James Woods basically made him up. He was supose to be like most "slow talking menecing villains", but actor got angry and just went "hey i will talk like my agent".
Also it's his favorite role so when Disney calls him to do it, he agrees every time.
FFRR
I think Meg also help carry the movie ngl.
Ah Hades, One of the greatest villains in the history of animated Disney films! James Woods performance as the character is absolutely legendary and iconic!!!
Don’t agree with his opinions, but I would be lying if I said Hades was one of my favorite villains of all time
Hades is the funniest villain ever
James woods has good and sound common sense opinions 🤷♂️ @BoltPin_05
One of Disney Funniest villains alongside Hook & Yzma
Hades is such and icon💅
" He'S a GuY"💅💅
Hades knows
Why does that line feel like something every Dad says to their teenage daughter?
@@osmanyousif7849 yeah
He was trying to warn us
@@claudiaoliveiracosteira1907 the dad we needed
Hades is actually the oldest of the Big Three and he totally fits that role! He's the oldest that was just kind of forgotten.
Really? I really want you to say Zeus is the horny youngest
Funny he’s like the og eldest sibling who started the trend of the eldest being forgotten. Spoken from experience 🥹
Didn't he reject the throne of Olympus also?
@@CamtheWolfGamer Actually after the war with the Titans Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were going to decide who would keep the three relms, Sky, Sea and Underworld by putting three marbles on a bowl, each representing one of the relms, and whichever one they took would be their kingdom, needless to say, Hades was the only one who didn't cheat and got the underworld, Zeus cheated first and kept Mount Olympus and Poseidon cheated to cut down his losses since the Underwood was seen as the worst place.
Ironically, due to the fact that Hades was in charge of the Underwood, which was in the underground made him also the god of all of the riches of the Earth, from metals, gems as well as the fertile soil, which makes his relationship with Persephone even sweeter since she was the Goddess Of Spring, his palace was so majestic that only Olympus itself could possibly surpass it.
really I thought he was more of a middle child
Fun fact: hades was originally a much more solemn and serious character, it was James Woods who turned him into the fast talking huckster we know and love.
They wanted him to be played the way Ralph Fiennes eventually played him in the Titans movies but Woods convincing them to let him play him as a fast talking loan shark was a brilliant decision.
So _that's_ why Hades is just James Woods in animated form!
“Can’t. Love to. But can’t.” Hades God of the Underworld
Hades is the description of a true sass king 😌🙌
Only in Disney tho
@@GrandmasBiscuits
Hades from Kid Icarus is also sassy.
Wow. He’s just the best VILLAN ever whoever made his characters personality needs a RAISE
James Woods auditioned different compared to everyone else. Hades was originally going to be a way more serious villain, but James Woods went and auditioned as a sleazy car salesman and turned the whole movie on its head.
@@KhanivalHe would LOL
@@Khanivalperfect
1:53 Fun fact: in the German version, Hades calls her "my little chicken MEG nugget" :D
LMFAOO HE’S BRILLIANT
Fun fact: Blue fire is the hottest fire color, which is followed by white then there’s yellow/orange/ red being the most common. The reason I mentioned this is cause Hades’ natural color bring blue fire kinda means he’s always mad
I literally just commented this! It’s funny though because the madder he gets, the chiller he is
@@misshollis7547Kind of funny that he’s only the strongest when he’s calm
I was obsessed with this movie as a kid and because of Hades I call everybody "babe" lol
Same for me but with Sinbad❤
Fun fact: James Woods loves playing Hades so much that if he’s ever offered to replay the role he’d do it for free
I want him back for the live action 😩😩😩
@@sippingteayuh If he is, he’ll do it for free and he shall FEAST lol
Mythology Hades is such a chill dude with a badass cottagecore queen wife and a giant three-headed dog. Life goals honestly.
3:56 THE FLAME GOING OUT WITH THE "HZZAH" IM DEADDDD💀💀💀💀
LMFAOOOO
STOPPPPPP 💀💀💀💀😂😂😂😂😂
He was such an iconic villain
Indeed
He’s always carried this movie
Seeing Hades as a “bad guy” when he’s just as tired and unbothered by the gods like we are- Love him and thank you for making this video 🥰🥰💞💞
Hades: "What are those?"
Pain: "Those are my crocs"
The “mine!” “mine!” “mine!” had me dead 😂
Aren't we forgetting one tincy wincy but ever so crucial little tiny detail?
*I OWN YOU*
You certainly started 2024 off with a bang! Hades is a total sassy mood, and one of my favorite Disney characters. It’s great seeing him get appreciated. I hope you continue to slay in the new year!
fr
hades is the best because he is the most iconic
The actual Hades would love this Hades lol
The "😯 oh my godh, she's bald, she's bald and she's tortouring people who have hair" would be so good when Pegasus blows out his hair 😂😂
I believe in Hades The Sassy King Supremacy 🗣✨✨💙✨✨
The ultimate sass king
I remember thinking he was kinda like the Devil when I was little. Once I got older and read about his mythology, though, I felt bad for assuming the worst.
“ Please, he’s a guy 😒 “ - My favourite line lmao.
The 1:43 part is so funny, i swear i cant stop laughing😭😭
HAHA I can't stop either someone please save me LOL ☁️
Edit: i can't breathe
😂😂😂😂
The Gangsta’s Paradise choir 😂🤣
It is a genuine crime that Hades didn't get a Disney villain song
"Uhh, guys, Zeus would be 👈that way"
"😮"
"ZEUUUUUS"
GETS ME EVERY FREAKING TIME ISTG
i love hades so much. im glad this was made.
At this point I feel like Hades should have his own movie! He's just too awesome to be the side character!! ❤❤
3:00 WHAT ARE THOSE 😂😂
3:17 can we appreciate how he just read 3 people in 5 seconds??
Fun fact: in the greek dub he still says the words "concept" and "relax" which is very ironic because that's a very rare thing for a greek disney dub to do, and it happens in the only disney film that's set in greece 💀
They gave hades so much of hera’s personality traits
I headcannon that hera was supposed to be the main antagonist but she couldn't make it because Zeus was doing Zeus things so hades played the role for her.
Yall keep fumbling the bag by not adding the "zeusy I'm home" line, it's sooo underrated 😂😭😭
4:51 “DUUUH!”😂😂
Him and Hexxus defo woke up a whole generation of loving fun/sassy villains
5:38 in Latin Spanish he says "who blew out the candle"
When your siblings try to sit
Couch with you 0:51
FINALLY SOMEONE SAY IT!!😭
3:11, he blew his stack, violently.
*The violent blow in question:*
3:37 that was the part I was waiting for I swear thank you
"And you're wearing his... MERCHANDISE!!!!"

2:26 not the cupcakke gulp
One of the most relatable Disney villains in history
they way he looks so done when saying "HE's A GUY" is hilarious
At least throughout the entire ordeal, he still referred to his plan as “we” he still ackknowledges his team that he had, and was not completely selfish
4:27 na dublagem brasileira essa cena é muito boa ❤
VOU VIAJAR NO CARNAVAL!!!!!😡😡😡
This man is my spirit animal
We stan Hades 😔🙌
0:20 No one comforted Hades now
I love him ❤ making me remember that Aladdin and Hercules crossover episode. Him and Jafar should've had more screentime together they were robbed 😢
James Woods was obviously having such a blast with Hades, he absolutely owns every moment.
Got to admit, that little fart as Meg poofs in caught me off guard: 4:18
In Greek Mythos, Hades is a chill dude, it's a bit upsetting seeing many people calling Hades "the villain god"
I found out about your videos last month and I have already watched all of them! I love this channel it's hilarious 😊
6:18 😂😂
this is exactly what i was hoping for omg 😂
Hades carried the entire movie ngl
Good thing he’s immortal because if not he’d have had a heart attack by now
“Woah is my hair out?” 5:37 had me dying 😂😂😂
*WIG SNATCHED-*
Hades IS one of the greatest villains ever every line of his was funny when i was a kid me and my cousins we couldn't stop laughing and pretending to be him him in some lines
Hades being a menace basically
I always thought it was funny seeing Hades as the hotheaded villain when in myth he tends to be the most chill (the bar is pretty low, but still)
I love this version of him so much though 😂
I love this movie so much, Hades made it so much better I swear☠️🖤
0:15 Hades is bad at jokes
0:23 sociopathic 😂
0:58 another "I'm surrounded by Idiots" 😂😂😂

Yes, thank you, I was waiting a video about this sassy king 💙. Also Happy New Year everyone 🎉
Happy New Year's! I remember that Hades was one of the first villains who introduced me to the campy male villain archetype, along with James from Pokemon
Speaking of James, I'd like to recommend doing a video on him
The AMOUNT of sass that Hades gives, is ASTONISHING
I don't think many people realize how cute he actually looks in 1:10. Absolutely adorable.
I just love this guy, he's just hilarious and his expressions makes me laugh so much 😭❤
Happy new year Tea and whoever reads this!! Let’s hope it’s a good one with lots of Tea posts!! ❤❤🎉🎉
Little dark little gloomy and as always full of dead people
Y'all I love him 😂
6:20 when u used the “mine” sound 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You know the more I read comments on videos about Hercules’ hades the more I realize how chill/cool of a dude he is compared to some of the other gods in Greek mythology, and probably the most misunderstood one because of this movie.
If we want to make a Greek god antagonist that’s related to death in someway just go with Ares or even Thanatos, the *actual* Greek god of death.
OMG THE CHANNEL BANNER LOOKS AMAZING
and Hades is truly the king of
💅sass💅
Okay, can someone please tell me where to find this sound at 4:01? It’s literally so damn iconic and i laugh every time i hear it.
No Tears Left To Cry 😩
@@sippingteayuh THANK YOU!!!

James Woods was brilliant as Hades!
I used to watch Hercules a lot on VHS and yeah Hades is best Disney Villain.
Hades is funny lmao 😂
This is how u write a comedic disney villian(I'm watching u, Wish writers)
2:04 *Fuck!*
Having a father like Hades is the only thing I need in life
Not the owl on Athenas hand glaring at him in the first few seconds😭
The editing in this video was miraculous. It gave me a good laugh lmao
