I love mine it fits like a glove shoots like a dream and they make it in Left hand for guys like me. Love it. The inertia system is super reliable and felt recoil is not even noticeable when you are hunting. I shot 500 three inch duck loads in one day during break in and my shoulder was barely sore. The gun is fairly light but it feels even lighter when you swing it, just really well balanced. 5 years of hard hunting later and I've never had a single problem yet. I'm likely going to be purchasing a Montefeltro as well because I like the system so much. I highly recommend the M2
I've had an M2 for two years and it's a fantastic gun. Zero recoil, light, accurate (even with me in the trigger) and I would recommend this over the SX3 and all the Berettas.
After a few shells the forearm started to become loose which I absolutely can't stand. But after applying some shims (small pieces of tape layered together) it was firm. Really the only problem of the gun for me. Only time it didn't shoot was when a big cat tail reed was stuck between the bolt and the receiver. Other than that I have never shot a more comfortable gun.
I'm after a benelli 12g or 20g I'm not a lover of recoil so please let me know whats the least amount of recoil benelli shotgun? i may have started something here, sorry?
I was thinking of getting a SBE2 but then i realized i wouldnt need 3.5' shells and no one really does for any type of waterfowl or upland birds. And with the shells out today you can have some that are just as powerful and perform better than the 3.5" version. So thanks for making a shotgun i can rely on Benelli.
Put thousands of rounds through mine, and it has never jammed through any fault of the gun. Killed deer, turkeys, ducks, dove, and clays. Easy to disassemble, and a comfortable to carry long distances. I’d never sell this gun.
gotta send mine back for warentee. I wouldnt recomend this shotgun, poor design and build quality. The recoil spring tube nut holds the stock on and puts ample stress on the recoil spring tube. I put less thank 10K rounds through my m2 and the recoil spring tube shatterd and had all kinds of stress cracks. This gun wont last a lifetime, the design is very poor. Buy a browning or beretta

How can you shoot hundreds or thousands of shells in a "high dove situation" when in most place the legal limit is 15 birds?
+Dalton Duckett Look up Cordoba, Argentina. Benelli has a video.
Or you hunt with Hellen Keller, although you'd probably be dead.
Eurasian doves have no limits or seasons. Plus, look up south America dove hunts. Wise ass.

Buy a browning or beretta
Actually the recoil spring has to be changed after 10000 rounds in beretta
