watching this on my s9+ with cracked screen in 2023.. well, watching this now because I am unable to buy the s23 ultra.. So to make myself happy, I'm watching this just to hear the compliments so I am satisfied using this phone😄
Bought my s9 plus in nov 2018. I won't be upgrading anytime soon. Best phone I've EVER had.. hands down 💯💕

It's 2023 and my s9 plus is going great
I spent almost 2 weeks looking at reviews of this,, the Pixel 2 XL and OnePlus 5T...I finally decided on the S9+ and traded in my iPhone X last Friday...and so far I love this phone.. First time in like 8 years I've stepped away from Apple . I think your review was great and is a quick rendering of the phone...always enjoy your reviews.

Not sure how you came up with that conclusion. I'm moving away from the Apple ecosystem. After Steve Jobs passed i don't think Apple has pushed the phone any further. As my MacBook was dying I had to look for a PC and figured it's a great time to move to Android. So last Friday i got the S9+ and Monday I got my new PC laptop. Love them both. The only think I thought I'd miss was the ability to text via a computer because I use it at work and home. But, downloaded Pulse and have it on any computer now so all good. The most I use my phone for is social media and watching CZcams (a lot)...and guess what, the S9+ has the best screen of any phone. Period. So, saying I'll be back to iPhone is rather silly. I've bought a new iPhone every year since maybe the 3...and honestly, I'm kinda tired of doing that and wanted a phone I'd have for 3-4 years. I knew the iPhone X wasn't it. And I know Samsung has a great design so I chose it. BTW I don't dislike Apple or Android as they are both great. Both have different business models but both are great. What I don't like are Apple folks so enclosed into their Apple ecosystem that they can't see the light of day. Guess what, in the end Apple is a HUGE marketing company. Yes, marketing. Do they now make the best products? Nope. They make everything to keep Apple folks into their ecosystem because it all works great together. I mean, phone rings and I can answer it on my watch, MacBook, iMac, iPad...it all works great. For me the only Apple product I have now is my dying MacBook. Now have so many options as to what Android watch I want to buy. Outside of Apple you have so many choices that you can pick what you want. So, a guess a long explanation as to why I'm not going back to iPhone.

Nice review and just picked this up a few days ago after my s7 edge killed itself, so far love it best phone I have ever owned and the dolby atmos is incredible
I’m thinking about getting the S9+
My galaxy s7 edge is wonderful but recently it just hasn't been functioning. Our store has an offer for 2 S9s, one for free. I'm considering if I'm able to, to get the s9 because smaller phones are harder to use for me. Thanks for this wonderful review of the pros and cons. I don't think I'll be using the apple like emotes they have, sort of creepy haha. The two windows open seems easier to use too.

I was looking into investing in the Huawei P20 pro, the Huawei P30 or the Samsung Galaxy S10 but with this review of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ surely caught my attention and I think I would now rather take the money and invest in the S9+ than any of the other three devices mentioned above.

I like the white balance of the rear camera but it's selfie camera still blows out highlights, and as usual it'll slow down in time, better options available

even after buying 7 iphones (3gs, 5s, 8 plus, x, xr, xs, 11 pro max), i still think of this samsung as the best android. no notch or anything. has face unlock and a finger print thing. only android i'd say is amazing. its brilliant, beautiful, high tech, fast, simple, and silk smooth. still looking for a new one top of the line to buy. :)
edit: completely underrated phone that got swallowed by iphone x for no reason.

this phone has a very nice design better than the iPhone in fact! it has a headphone jack, usb-c charging and no notch just two thin bezels! but android isn’t as easy or as capable as ios. too bad iphone didn’t think of these awesome design choices

I honestly like the Samsung Internet browser better than Chrome for Android. Chrome makes it hard for me to go back and forth between pages and also it doesn't have that more advanced built in video player in the web
