By the end of this video you should have enough knowledge so you don't end up buying a fake Samsung Galaxy S9+ believing that you are buying an original one.
A fake Samsung phone doesn't offer any performance, no quality control, no warranty. An original Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is better in every way. Clones are not recommended!

I wouldn't mind just buying the knock off at this point. Last time I was in China I bought multiple tablets, they weren't "fakes" as they were a Chinese brand. I gave them to my little cousins who were about to start college, they are still using them for school 2 years later, they compared them with their friends iPads and said they couldn't really tell the difference aside from the software. I'm sure for professional users can tell a difference, like art students or someone
who need high quality drawing capabilities or something.
But for my personal everyday phone, I wouldn't mind. I bet some of these fakes or knock off come from the same factory as real ones.

I actually just ordered a fake s9 on purpose. As long as it's a better performer than the last two phones I got from Wish I'll be fine.
It may similar to an S9 plus, but if you would have watched until 7:01 in he compares their Antutu benchmark scores and the fake only had a score of around 17,000 vs the real S9 plus which scores around 250,000-270,000. The fake would be about the equivalent of a 2012 Samsung Galaxy S2 original, basic model. Not to be confused with the upgraded S2 model the larger and much faster "S2 Skyrocket".
@@mmg198643 the two phones I referred to were running Android 4.4 Kitkat. For all I care the fake s9 clone could have Android 6 and it'll still be a better phone than those two. And that's assuming they actually send it and not give me a refund. Besides. I don't have the money for a real Samsung Galaxy s9. That's unless you have one lying around to send me.
I got the phone. I complained to Wish. I got my money back. I gave that POS away. The person I gave it to stuck it in his back pocket and sat on it. Now I know the fake one didn't even have Gorilla Glass 1. The screen cracked and now the phone doesn't work anymore. I'd consider buying an older s9, but I still owe a lot on my s10. Then again, I might grab an iPhone 7 or 8 and call it a day. We'll see.

The fake phones has no screen sensitivity adjustments, if you use a screen protector you literally have to punch the letters
to get results.

Hello! Nice video! I would recomend to put subtitles (i mean, writed by yourself, not automatic) or type in screen a little more like "Fake: Silver speaker" cuz im a not native speaker and sometimes u speak a little too fast or put the words too close and i have to go back to hear (with the auto-subs) if X feature u just mention was about the real or fake one, but thats only cuz im not native, i understand most of it which is cool :D. Im gonna try to check ur other videos too~
Also, dunno if u know about it? I have a problem where an acquaintance have a S9 and some people has point out the device is a clone (but havent said why they said that?) and i have follow some guides to spot the original vs the clone and her device looks original... everything i have checked so far seems original but she have a storage problem, it said she doesnt have space and need to delete stuff (with just one app installed) and the storage said "30.63gb free" so... thats seems pretty clone to me but the other test (apparance, sensor thing) make it look original, can u guide me in how to truly know whats the issue or if its a clone so bad that she actually have less than 2gb of storage xd?
(Just In Case this info is useful: She had that problem, wanted to factory reset in settings, take out SIM card and the phone enter in Anti-Theft mode... she couldnt unblocked cuz she knew nothing about it, i looked it up and help her, lucky she put her sister as the emergency number and the msg she received told me how to get the password back but... the codes made me believe it is clone too... one of the command is chinese lol "xiaohui" so... does that confirm its clone? or it is the common command of anti-theft in samsung s9? *i google it but couldnt find anything*)

Redskull one thing I did notice is the message icon is orange on the note 8 but blue on the 9 series. Was the message icon blue on the s8. The bezel is a dead giveaway from pics I see from people selling the phone. Bottom bezel is very noticeable. I actually noticed this when I though about getting the s8 last yr.

AKG headphones can be made everywhere... The only way to spot fake is to clink with silver parts where it's written AKG and they have to soud like metal.. not like plastic

Thank you. I heard that android 9.0 is coming out but I never got the update. I know their releasing it two countries at a time, but I got worried mine is fake. Especially when I saw that the security patch was last updated on September. 2018.
Anyway it is original and I'll just have to wait till the pie comes around for my version.

Hey,you may be having a different model but I have bought my s9+ from the Samsung site and my box had the specifications instead of contents! Maybe the scammers used the box from some other model in the fake one!

No. He's wrong about a few things. Different regions, t different times, have different spec. For example, the box he says is fake is exactly the correct real box in the UK. Samsung definitely made/make headphones in Vietnam - you do not need to worry.

In Indonesia which we have Samsung factory here,the box sold is like the fake one,you can see details specification on the back. Because in our market,specification can lead people to buy this phone not that phone..maybe it can be different in other market

Vietnam has the largest production unit of Samsung phones - about 50%. so I don't understand what you're talking about. There are only 6 Samsung phone factories: - S/Korea, Vietnam, China, Brazil, India and Indonesia.
Google Samsung factories and you'll be surprised what you get.

I watched this as was curious if a fake didn't have expandable SD slot as I've seen an S9 online from a supposed supplier, but has no SD slot. Everywhere I read the specs I can't find a version with no SD slot.
