This guy is really funny and I don’t think he’s trying to be. 🤣🤣👍
Thanks for watching!
I swear I was thinking the same thing 😆
She's soo uncomfortable 😫 lol 😆
😂
He’s a creep
“It’s funny you said that…there’s no odor, it just smells like the sea!” While staring into her eyes, she turns around immediately, LMAO!!! This dude is freakin hilarious!😂😂😂
This dude is super weird. I think hes trying to impress her but hes coming off as a serial killer lol
Agree wtf 😄
😂
So cringe I'm dying hahah
dude i was thinking that
What a negative comment
I cooked swordfish on a propane grill today. It was served with baked acorn squash and seasoned and fluffy rice.
Awww you forgot to invite me. 😢
Not sure why everyone is calling you awkward lmao. You just seem calm, like you smoked a fatty before the show started
Lol just read ur comment. Ive had a long day I appreciate ur humor!!
My god she seemed so uncomfortable, you see that physical recoil when he leaned in to tell her about the “gills eyes and TOUCH” 😂
Did you see how she grabbed the kitchen cloth from him? I think she was more weird than him. He was really into the food. And she was making it awkward.
He didn’t say what to look for in the eyes!
he did nothing wrong in that specific time frame, that was all on her. the cause could have been anything though, looked like she was making sure the pot was away from her or somethin
Man, I always loved cooking but I hate to be stucked in a kitchen on the weekends when everyone else in the family has their time off.
I went with construction, but I'll always love the kitchen
I followed his directions and it was delicious. When I made it again, I added a little honey and it was wonderful
🙌 nice! Thanks for watching!
Did you add the honey to the oil and butter and then baste it?
My son is bringing over some tomorrow I have never eaten it or cooked it, thanks for the tutorial!
This is 100% Robert California from the office and you can’t tell me any different.
Not even close
Theres a place in sarasota that makes custom spices for fish and different types of meats. I've used them when cooking fish for people who say they don't eat it. Now when they come over they ask for what kinda fish is for dinner. Thx for the tutorial always fun to learn new techniques.
What a good teacher.
“Just a little dab of butter” like half a stick lol
Great fish / but 2 awkward people..
I feel like this is the beginning of a horrible porno
I feel like they're in a sexual relationship. Or something!
Great video !
Thanks. I haven’t cooked swordfish in awhile and thought I needed to broil it
I think the man is very confident and not weird at all. Probably has a high I Q.
This guy is sharp!
I was thinking about cooking two at the same time one in the pan and one in the oven but I just decided to stick to the one in the pan now I need a baking swordfish recipe
Epic!!
Why does it feel like this a 80's porn movie...just listen to this guy, He's ready to hit this SNOWBUNNY...LOL
Very awkward but also very informative!
Sorry you feel as though it was awkward but, thanks for watching!
@@TheChefsKitchen sooo awkward couldnt you feel it . yikes cant believe this was released plus he just put salt and pepper on it. learned nothing
@@oltch. a quality fish shouldn’t need anything more than salt & pepper!
Best fish in the Ocean catching even more fun then eating although you’ll be so tired if your reeling for hours may as well eat this superb fish
When I buy fresh fish I insist on smelling it cuz it shouldn't smell. Chef is great as I check for the other things he mentioned. Good simple cooking method as well
Thanks for watching
Looks delicious! I had some swordfish today but I don't think I cooked it right!
Cooking it , not over cooking is wrought ! I might try the broiler this time ( he never mentioned the temperature to cook it at:(
Ty
Her: " Can't wait to get this done with"
Him: "There is no odor it smells like the sea!"
There’s no odor it just smells like the sea. This guy 😂
I wish I could hear what to look for in the gills and eyes; he tried to say it twice and she interrupted him. It's frustrating when they don't let them say.
Sorry about that! Clear eyes and red gills! Thanks for watching!
Whoa man dont get to crazy with them spices 😂
I did what he did but put pieces of garlic in the oil.
How do you know how long to cook the fish? Given that there are often differences in thickness...
It really depends on a couple of variables: your stove, the thickness of your fish and the temperature you desire. You'll want to sear the fish primarily on one side, once the fish releases from the pan and you've basted it with your butter, take a peek at the side that is searing if it has that nice caramelization then give it a flip and look for the albumin leaching out of the swordfish. Albumin is a protein that is pushed out of the muscle fibers of the fish as it cooks, coagulating on the surface. Once you start to see the albumin leaking out (this should happen pretty quickly 1-2min at most) shut the heat off and allow your protein to rest, remember there is carry over heat so even though you have shut the heat off the swordfish will continue to cook. You can always use a thermometer the suggested temp is between 130-135 degrees before letting them rest. Thank you for watching!
@@TheChefsKitchen Thank you SO much for the wonderful reply! You literally answered all my questions that I thought about but didn't post because I wanted to keep it simply- one being about the Albumin, and the other about internal temperature! Again, thank you! :)
@@EFTPractice you're welcome hope it helps! Let us know if you have any other questions?
Lmao you act like you're talking to a 5 year how to sear a protein. Novice at best
@@martinezfred32 sorry you feel that way!
Salted or unsalted butter
Better to use unsalted if you want better control over the salinity of the dish; salted if you typically don’t salt your food too much. However salting foods does help break down its fibers and emit stronger flavor!
@@RuthneyBenjamin awesome
So basically it like fish steak lol got it !
You remind me of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Very lovely.
“There is No odor it just smells like the sea “
this guy is the steven seagal of cooking
I could have fried a better thing, have a better seasoning or marinade for that lol, they just fired it in olive oil, butter, salt/pepper (not knocking the simplicity of how they cooked it) just a lot better recipes out there, what they made would go really well on a salad
Was he talking about the fish or the co host in the beginning?
"Theres no odour"
...proceeds to say
''it smells like the sea"
I followed this recipe pretty much exactly. Now is the middle supposed to be a bit less cooked than the sides? I’ve heard it’s unhealthy to eat big fish undercooked
Well maybe you had you pan to hot. Cooking is not complicated.
@@cyncerevideos5111 it's not simple either. Hence all of the cooking tutorials
Is he high?? Lmao
this man is sorta creepy..
Something about this guy....
At 00:48 seconds she flinches SUPER hard.. lol. GILLS. EYES. And TOUCH..... uhmmm.
Fabricating a fish
Look at SNOWBUNNY, she's nervous, for that DDDDEEEEEEEEEEE...LOL
Gills…Eyes…. And Touch!!! 🤣🤣🤣
This chicks like stfu I know... what a star
Put wine instead of salt.
I wish Jacques Pepin was doing this video,a real chef.
I'm pretty sure this guy's had a few drinky-poos before the cameras started rolling.
Why salt? Why you want to eat salty fish?
did he really cook it in 90 seconds?
i love the part where they ate the swordfish.
BEEP GAME.....
If it smells like fish, its a dish
That simple?
There is a strange dynamic going on with those two. She seems a little weirded out and keeps backing away awkwardly.
I think he was getting on her nerves 😬
Awkward. Ps AWKWARD lol
Where do I find an assistant like her?
I get just as weird around gorgeous women, I put my hand on their shoulder and say HEY?!?
The guy sounds like he’s high!
Is this guy trying to hit on her while cooking?
Lol. 💀
Dude is definitely about his work. Cause he got 0 rizz
He is serious that all.
Condescending.. she handled it like a professional woman
Just add some Extra virgin human oil! 😮
This guy isn’t so agreeable. Guessing his personality. Lollol
Dudes a creep
I liked the female better on Wipeout !
No. Please don’t use metal spoon on your pans. Invest in wood tools
I think you all forgot to read the community guidelines. Keep comments respectful.
🙌 thanks for watching!
These two have no chemistry and sorry but was her job to make this interesting .
This dialogue is so weird.
Bro you better wash those god damn hands before cooking 0:54
Ah I stand down, wipe that nose raw 1:20
Yeah… cringy vid 😂
so is using that word.
Wtf he’s deliberately smoking olive oil? Terrible.
It's like he's mansplaining. Sir, she's not 5. I think she gets it. 😅🙄
She's very patient with the aggressive amount of mansplaining going on.
Step 1: heat olive oil in the pan.
Step 2. Cook fish in the pan.
Step 3. Eat fish on a plate.
No mansplaining here! I think that’s how he talks. Plus it’s a cooking tutorial.
That guys fucking weird.
That's NOT very fresh looking swordfish.
Why does this guy speak like he’s absolutely wasted
Too much talking..
this guy is so creepy...
If fish smells bad that's good because the aroma is leaving the food and won't be there when you eat it. Stinkier the better.
That is incorrect. Clear eyes, red gills, and no smell is the neighborhood you wanna be in! 😁 Thanks for watching! Anyone else have a tip on what to look for when buying fish?
If it stinks that means it’s rotting. Don’t listen to this guy.
Why do people always have to make these judgmental comments about others time to grow up.
How condescending is this guy to this lady? He must have a degree in Salt & Pepper to be able to call her a natural. And you should always SMELL the fish for freshness. She was right.
I usually microwave my swordfish
