I’m pretty sure that was unit, or another torchwood branch we’ve never seen, as he doesn’t appear in any of the canon audiobooks that continue the story
sicalax 100 She wasn’t a part of Torchwood (or UNIT) in “The End of Time”, she talked to Mickey about how she “went freelance”.
Maybe then the majority of them wouldn't have ended up dead.
They originally intended to make her and Mickey permanent members to replace Owen and Tosh for series 3, but then they decided to just do children of earth instead
Martha: “Maybe, I’ll come back. One day”
I know It’s been 12 years but I’m still sad she never came back to Torchwood.
Big Finish audio dramas have had her come back very, VERY recently!
She has Mickey and probably has kids and is probs a full time Doctor

Did you know: There had been talks of Martha appearing in Sarah Jane Adventures, which would’ve made her the only main character to appear in all three shows. Shame it didn’t happen
We got Brig back instead for his final TV appearance in the Whoniverse, and I much prefer that, so I'm glad it didn't happen. Would've been cool if Martha did appear in all three, but if we could only have one scenario I'd take Brig over Martha anyday.

@@lucasdolding6924 Agreed, still, would have been nice to see her in SJA at some point, maybe see how her and Sarah bonded about moving on from the Doctor..then again we kinda got in with Jo Grant from that Series 4 story with her.

I know its suppose to be dramatic and everything but I find it funny every time I watch Martha walk off- in completely the opposite direction to the train station or any bus stops in Cardiff Bay 😂 right toward the waterfront
Like there's a scene on the cutting room floor where she realises she's walking the wrong way, turns round and is like "SHIT- sorry, wrong way!" 😂
Torchwood's honestly a show I didn't appreciate fully until it was gone. The second and third seasons were brilliant, there was some fantastic writing and it deserved a lot more praise than it got. Watching this actually makes me a bit sad, now all of this is over. Even with Jack returning in the latest Doctor Who series, it feels like these good times are long behind us.

Not the whole love triangle thing, just let Gwen and Rhys be happy and Jack and Ianto be happy. Create drama elsewhere, you have plenty of choice.

And here again we have Chibnall beginning a good scene and then ruining it by adding that unnecessary and out of character kiss. Just like he tried to make Gwen and jack a thing when it was always supposed to be Jack and Ianto, thank god RTD took back over for 3 and 4 and fixed everything

Huzzamossi Chibnalls still in charge, his scent is all over it. Just like how Moffat sprinkled his rubbish on episodes that he didn’t write either. Just like how it was his idea to have Jenny come back to life in the doctors daughter and then never bother using her for 6 series’s
ObiWan Kenobi “His scent is all over it” is a really weak argument, in lieu of actual evidence. Also, comparing it to Moffat is a tad dumb too, as Moffat was often given co-writer credit for the episodes that he wrote scenes for, whereas Chibnall was not, so at least with Moff you KNEW if he’d written a scene for an episode. While Chibnall was at fault for most of Torchwood’s issues (as he was showrunner), putting him at fault for this scene in specific with no evidence is a bit much.
Huzzamossi he wasn’t, he had no writing credit on the episode for the doctors daughter and other ones he chipped ideas in for.
Martha was never meant to be with jack or the doctor she was meant to be with Micky
