    Didn't we blow our military budget on tampons in the men's washrooms?
    Edit: I wrote turdeau a couple of days ago, suggesting that he could have bragged at leading NATO with the tampon dispensers.
    Also, I pointed out to him that NATO should be impressed with our military spending, as non-existent equipment is good for NATO's carbon footprint.

      The CAF is obsessed with D.E.I. and fulfilling their quotas when it comes to that point. If your first nations and you show any interest at all, your like gold to them and they'll send you on the next raven program. Their main hunting grounds for recruits these days are universities and colleges( and their not getting high level people as far as i can tell). To be honest, we could use some old fashion people with skills or rural folk with hard work ethic. Also the salaries for tech or trade people are just not that attractive compared to civilian jobs out there.

    • @amymason156
      @amymason156 Před 18 dny

      @@stepbord1426 You're on point with the lack of incentives, but you and they are missing a key and growing demographic, people who can't look forward to having land, inheritance, a family, education, or good job, nothing but spending all of their income on rent and their savings on groceries while wasting away doing gig work, data entry, serving and call centre jobs. Sure, they want rural people and they're right to want them, but they're needed to drive trucks and work the land and there's not enough of them as it is.
      Cities, meanwhile, are overflowing with penniless, hopeless young people whose future would already be bleak if WW3 wasn't threatening to come in a year or two. No one else wants them, but our allies have a tradition of recruiting the urban poor going back to the Gilded Age. We don't, it seems that in our culture we just tell them to stop eating avocado toast and expect them to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and take out a lifetime of student loans. It's not working out for anyone but the drug cartels.

    We brought in 10 million people within 8 years. Now we have an education crisis because we don't have enough schools, or teachers that speak English or French as a first language, we don't have enough educated engineers to build the schools to Canadian building codes because we have extreme weather conditions, and buildings need to be built to withstand extreme cold, then rain and mud, then extreme heat, then back to rain and mud, then back to extreme cold trying to sput the buildings out of the frozen Earth. Then theres the Justice system crisis we are in, we don't have enough lawyers, judges, police, police cars, corrections officers, or jails, or the engineers that know Canadian building codes to build them. Then there's the Healthcare crisis, we don't have enough nurses, doctors, pharmaceutical techs, hospital equipment, beds, or hospitals, and the engineers that know how to build to our building codes. Then theres the housing crisis, we don't have enough educated engineers to build all the housing we need so we have a massive homeless crisis now, and the new Canadians have the new comer act, where they get government help to buy homes, but no home born Canadians can buy homes because they are too expensive.
    It all boils down to, too many people too fast, and not enough educated people to fix our systems, so we can get out of this mess. There's other crisis going on as well, like our farms lands not being able to produce enough fast enough, so good prices are going through the roof. Anyway, you get it. I know this is not politically correct, and i shouldn't say anything about it, because people come from countries that are worse off, and i want to save the world too, but our country, and communities are broken now. Such a shame. Also, crime is thru the roof, because nobody can afford anything, and so many new scams are going on. I watched a few men just walk out of the store with carts filled with T.V.s like it nothing. It police have said so many cars are being stolen, and sent to the middle East that it's better to just let your car be stolen. We are told that theres so many being stolen that the police wont be able to get to you, so just let them be stole, to try to stop them. Where beforehand the police would be right there, and if you could slow them down the cops would be there. Now they just say let them go, now all day long all you hear are police cars constantly. Crazy what is going on. Anyway, sorry for saying all the things that are going on. I kind of got on a tangent about the news, and truth of Canada. Please don't come here. We are full...
