Acceleration wise they'll be about the same, but top speed will suffer, and with the changes in aero they're tweak the rules to pretty much enforce inwash. The floor will be shorter as well as they're reducing the size/weight of the cars. So downforce will be much lower, drag will thankfully be less.
However I expect that top speed tracks will suffer a lot. The electric power will pretty much only be used at corner exit and the cars will essentially be at top speed for half a straight.

1 note.. Mercedes were running an engine that only had to last 3 races. They defenitly turned up the power. If it was not for that gap would've probaply been bigger

Worth noting that the Engines since 2022 are using E10 fuel and most likely lost power compared to 2021, despite everybodys best effort to regain that power for 2022.

to those mentioning how verstappen is much closer to the walls:
the wheels are bigger than in 2021... dont measure the distance from the top of the wheel to the height of the advertisements on the barriers.
But yes, verstappen does get closer to the walls than lewis or any other driver for that matter, the only one that gets closer 6 times in a season is lance stroll.
