Buy the MKII V8 Engine on my Store, 2200 RPM Version! All Pre-Modified - sellfy.com/green-gecko-workshop/
I'm guessing your australian or New Zealand judging by the hills hoist, colourbond house and the shed design?
@@tahimacfarlane0691 Yeah nz
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop nice. I'm australian and have been all my life but have a NewZealand name. Yet have never been to NZ. When I do eventually come over to NZ could we meet up? Maybe teach me a few thing about how gears work? I have never understood how to make complex/simple gears.
Really awesome that engine and the whole hotrod. One question here: have you tried to RC'fy the car with a bottle of compressed air spray or iSi soda capsule and an Sbrick for remote controling? That would be the ultimate compressed air rc machine.
@@bloeckmoep yes i have
Why the hell isn't Lego offering this build for sale ??
If I could build this one with instructions i would definitely buy it !! .
This is a MOC (My Own Creation), i didn't make instructions for this one sorry.
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop Would you consider making it available and how do we get the parts? This would be amazing and kid and I both would love this!
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop yes please
Where
If they offer this for sale i will cost something like 350 dollars
A car on a leash - this is something new
it is a air line, for the pneumatic engine
Reminds me of old 50s wired electric toy cars before RC became a thing
sad that it would take a bigger car to make it truly remote controlled, but you might need an nzxt brick? i'm not sure of any better way to do that, i'm not a proper lego nerd soz
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop you dont say
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop an* airline uwuwu
I would shrink myself and drive this
Comment of the Year!
Lol
Save money and buy an Ariel Atom.
I love the perfect timing of the pistons and the fact that you have built an entire chassis for the engine. The only thing that I miss, that would have made me melt is a gearbox. Anyways it is undeniably one the most amazing creations I've ever seen made with Lego. Great work
U should make a LEGO air compressor and use it to power the motor steering ect and use wireless power functions or NXT
Awesome build!! This is probably the best piece of Lego Technic I've seen in years. And man I love the revving engine sound! Excelent job!!
Thanks, this is also my favorite model i have built. 👍
The BEST creation I´ve seen in past few weeks... :D
thanks man : )
in years*
After many hours of hard work building the Whole car it is finally done. I am thinking of building a Pneumatic Power Off-Roader, What size of engine do you think it should have? i am thinking of using a inline 6...
Comment Down Below on your thoughts...😃
I agree with the I6, that will fit in nicely with the overall appearance. btw, I really like this build! It's very well made!
thanks man
Is something so hard to build so the engine????
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop I think you should do a really low gearing v12 for power so you can really off road I know it's not realistic but it would still be cool an i6 would work too but you need really low gearing
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop awesome creations thoe I wish I had the parts to make these
Amazing! Really nice chassis and great bodywork. Not to mention that sweet engine ;)
thanks, this is my favorite engine i have made so far. an i6 is in the works and a pneumatic chainsaw...
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop looking forward to it!
One of the most beautiful lego builds I've ever seen. 🔥🔥🔥
There is something oddly satisfying in this sound on 7:13 It's like "full compressed air ahead!" I love it!
being an emgineer is so fun you can make what you want and i like it
WOW! I did not know something like this was possible out of Lego. Well done!
thank you
I need to use this song for my car now. All of the cool geckos and hamsters are doing it!
This NEEDS to be a set
with this amazingly powerful engine i guess we are a big step closer to make lego fly! i could write an unnecessarily long comment but its better to just say that i love it! if it was for sale i'd buy one ASAP
for full price...
Thanks, you can buy my complete V8 pneumatic engine on a site called MOCHUB if you want - www.mochub.com/moc/v8-lego-pneumatic-engine-green-gecko
Looks so realistic I thought it was a gokart review based of of just the thumbnail.
CZcams recommended is making my childhood creations seem worthless
Same
Saw the first few seconds....Immediately subscribed !
100% one of the best builds iv ever seen
I think I'm so smart until I see people build things like this.
Like, seriously, I can't even comprehend how you get everything to simply fit together, much less operate.
Amazing cool I don't have words to tell
thanks
Awesome stuff
That’s awesome
One question: WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU HAVE MIRE SUBS???!! THIS IS GENIUS!!!!!!!!
Realy Nice design
It's so much better than the 2014 lego technic one
Awesome 😃
Respekt! Du hast es wirklich drauf
Beautiful model!
Thanks
freakin amazing man
thanks
Great work. Well done.
thanks
One of the best creations out of lego
Thank you
Cool
This is nice car!
Wow
Good music dude
if you had an rc controller and some sorta liquid gas canister this could be so dope to drive around with. Awesome.
I'm addicted to your videos
So neat, the engine sounds so cool! Just needs a bit of oil here and there to make the squeaks go away!
This is impressive!
thanks
this is amazing
thanks
I WANT IT it's so amazing dude
😮😮🤩👍🏻 keep it up
Wow! 😱
its looks amazing
thanks
This is awesome
thanks
Thanks for the inspiration, im going to try to use powered up controls to make a truly wireless version, and use motors to run the pumps and steering
Go for it!
Finally a car that i can afford
Are you kidding))) amazing
Thanks
So cool!!!!!!!!
thanks
Wooow !
Very nice creation !
Like
thank you
thats genius
oh daddy yeeeessssss
awesome!!
thanks
Wow such a awesome rat rod!!
thank you
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop no problem keep it up
Nice I like how there's no room for a firewall it's all motor!
thanks, it was a tight squeeze
Cool I likey
Amazing!
And a inline six engine is a great idea for a offroader.
yes, that is what i thought 👍
Oh my god this bloody legend made even the steering with a pneumatic pump
So coooollll😍👑i want one
thank you
I really like this technic build
thank you
No problem
It sounds like an old air cooled Beatle lol fantastic job , have subscribed so I don't miss any of your videos , 👍👍👍
Cool, thanks
aaaaaaa dang you made it fiirst. this is just still really cool!!
It does go very fast.
sure does
Çok iyi yaptın bu harika
It’s still beautiful, 2 years later!
Thank you
I like your controller so much.
thanks
You are my god
I think Lego should add pneumatic pieces like a little electric air pump and things like that.
idk about those disslikes... its just great video and creation
thanks
You could consider making a car with an actual gearbox and the v8 engine. A four-wheel-Drive System would be dope as well!
vroom
I might've missed something, but if the controller has to be connected to the car, how does the car drive around and be controlled if the car is just dragging the controller? Dumb question I know, I'd imagine you'd just have a really really long air tube, great build by the way! I love how the wheels can turn
Would it work better for the steering if you add fluid (water) in the cylinders? Maybe it is a little faster response then.
yes and no, water will make it rust but will be better for the steering. it works fine how it is.
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop use distilled
holy crap this is amazing, definitely using your engine to build something, im not going to post any images or videos of it without crediting you/asking permission
Thanks, I also have a MK2 V8 LPE coming out this week
I wish they weren’t so expensive and hen I would buy all of your mocs
Thanks
If you gear it down and increase pressure going to the engine it should be more powerful and sound better
i had it running nice anyway, will try higher pressure in the next engine video in a few days
Straight up thought Yes Roundabout was going to play at the start.
The photo was taken on a Local Race Track
I think you should give it more torque that way you will receive better power and takeoff by using a smaller and a larger gear
would having water in the lines to the sterring make it more responsive?
dunno if thats a good idea though
It's not a rc but is a good model to represent
Now supercharge it😂 btw Good job
thanks
Would be interesting to see this engine hooked up to a motor to be used as a pneumatic generator
great idea...
You could just use wireless activator
Btw nice house
Its pneumatic tho
this is like a Doug Demuro video but for a lego car
Nice flex
dude i wish thati could build like you
i'm going to be doing a lego technic training series in a few months time...
Pneumatic steering that's responsiveness is good & proportion
I love you car
thanks
I'd love to see different versions of this. Like a 1969 Dodge Charger with the same chassis, or some kind of adaptation.
I am Making a New Hot Rod Video this Year, with a New MK3 V8 LPE
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop That's awesome! I think, it would be interesting, if you'd try to adapt the model for different "shells". I don't know, how difficult it is to design a body, but maybe you wouldn't even have to change the chassis.
if you put lithium grease on the gears, it should silence the squeak
i did that, it helped a bit.
Very cool!
Steering would be even quicker and more precise if it was hydraulic, could you just fill the pneumatic steering system with water?
thank you, i chose not to put water in the steering cylinders because it would make it rust. i could use thin oil, maybe next time.
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop good thinking!
Rust hadn't occurred to me, are they plastic and steel? I would've thought aluminum or stainless!
Man, try to connect it to a co2 catridge, remember to connect limiter to it :D
Co2 is too cold and damages the plastic, causing it to fracture under load
Do you think it's worth lubricating all those squeaky plastic moving parts somehow? I always think about this when I see Lego creations on CZcams.
yes and no, if you want to use the parts in another model i recommend not to. but if the model (engine ) is going to stay built, it is worth it. my engines no don't squeak so i don't do it. the yellow knob gears are the problem in this car.
i also have a suggestion make a air tank built in so it doesn't need to have hoses following it around
Yes, i already thought of that.
Really cool, but you should put there big cylinders
there is no room
Imagine Lego created this as a set
Please, make the windshield white as well!
i like how it is
