- This is a LEGO Technic Buggy base powered by a BuWizz unit, connected to a gamepad through the cellphone using the app "brick controller 2".
It has an all-wheel-drive drivetrain powered by the legendary RC lego Buggy motors.
It has full independent suspensions powered by elastic rubber bands.
The steering mechanism is powered by a lego fake servo that costs 17€ and it is stronger, faster & cheaper than the original.

the best RC car I have seen from LEGO technic 😮
That suspension is incredibly impressive
I think you need to compensate for the heavy back end by adding more elastic bands on the rear suspension.
I would first try to balance the weight better. If the suspension keep bottoming out a that much, it then would be better to stiff them all, non just the rear ones
@@salmiakki5638 On täällä näköjään suomalaisiakin :DD
I will recomend to use gray shock absorber and put it so it has got less power
@@salmiakki5638 yeah, it looks like both the front and rear suspension bottoms out to ground level which is no good.
its only 460 gram. nomstiffer suspesion needed
Suspension geometry is right on. The rubber bands work great. You need dampening. As an rc racer for many years, you may be able to double the amount of time your wheels touch the ground over most terrains by adding oil shocks. I can see in the off road slow motion sequences that your tires touch the ground about 50% of the time. Oil shocks would double your corner holding speed as well as corner exit speed off road... Which is the fastest way around the off road circuit.
I enjoyed this vid immensely, great build👍
@@adriablancafort I see your issue. Maybe adapt some rc shocks like you did the tires? You can find them cheap on eBay. Most come with 30 wt oil. You may have to use lighter weight(10wt) oil in them for the lighter Lego chassis. Good luck 👍
I believe there are tougher Lego suspension which are red coloured. I may be wrong but when I built the Lego sian I noticed the red suspension was a lot tougher than the chiron.
All you need to do is using friction pins at the pivot points of the suspension. That would give some dampening to the system.
@@kapuvarybence7552 that causes friction, not dampening
damping, not dampening. dampening means making it damp (wet) - don't worry though you're not the only one. I agree
Epic! The suspension is perfect! Those pieces would be very useful if Lego made them! Wow you are back after a year, thought you weren't gonna make quality content anymore!
That’s a lunatic machine must go 30 mph at least ! Good job man !
Can you make instructions on this plz
needs to be stiffer for off road
@@derekmorrison1203 Yes gif iT me
@@wewatchin2716 yes I Know but I still want instructions lol
As a mechanic I’ve never seen such realistic suspension on a technic moc or set. I’m working on my own Jeep gladiator moc and will definitely do something very similar to this.
Jeep gladiators are my favourite truck
Good luck!
Thats the best minimalist suspension design I've ever seen
Incredible basic concept! HUGE development potential! Sway bars, shocks, enclose the drivetrain, only needs a cockpit and minor paneling!
This is really impresive! So much functionality in such little space!
That suspension is absolutely amazing thank you for showing it off properly!!!
One of the best RC car builds i've seen. Thank you for sharing.
the look isn't good since there's not body, but this is one of the best Lego buggies i've seen, it dont have real weakness
This is an aweseome example of sprung vs unsprung mass on suspension components
Very nicely done, very fast too and flies over rough terrain. Impressive!
This is great. Well done LEGO. Your knowledge is impressive. Be proud!
Possibly the my favorite rc model on CZcams! Amazing job!
glad to see you active again!
ngl lego should offer this as a kit
Set*
Dude this is one of the coolest things I’ve seen! Absolutely epic!
Awesome suspension balance! My dream!
Can you make instrucions plz
The customized cardan is a great solution!!! Lego's original limit the building possibilities a lot for smaller models. Great video edition too! Congrats!
The best to explain how an independent suspension works.
Really cool! The suspension is fantastic!
Extremely impressive. If only lego made some sort of legitimate shock absorbers.
They do. :-)
@@LS1sLegoGarage
Kinda. They're just coilover friction dampers. They do the job but they're not really legitimate shock absorbers.
Pretty sure you can find some LEGO-compatible oil-filled dampers somewhere, though.
@@VestedUTuber yeah, I agree just wasn't sure about the proper terms and didn't wanna look stupid haha
Use the small pneumatic cylinders for dampers.
How long until the driver line wore out or broke a part?
you are incredible
This might actually be something I’d be willing to build
Super model! I Absolutely love the suspension and the slow motion shots!
Hi I watch ur channel so much it is awesome what are u making next??????
@@thedemokid8333 Hey thank you but I feel bad saying on some one else’s video! Feel free to comment on my vids I reply to everyone! Btw it could be a tank and a car... tricky build 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines hey, you here too? 😅
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines cool
This is incredible lego engineering! I love it
Finally you’re active again!!!!!1!1!1!!1!!!!! This is legendary!
I agree but please press shift correctly
@@ggrpfn4216 lol it’s me the demo kid but on my LEGO account wattup
@@ggrpfn4216 it was for emphasis
For rock crawling I would suggest that you make the differentials lockable.
Incredible build! Impressive capabilites, yet so simple!
Cool design
I would love to see a tutorial on this amazing chassis
Anyways great vid 👍
Man, that's gotta be so much fun to drive around. I wish i had the parts fir somethimg like that
Amazing!!!!!!! Great job!!!!
You created a real Monster!👍👍👍
Great idea for the wheel hub things!! I'm trying to build my own buggy off of that idea
Awesome suspension!
Ingenious!
And now, add dampers and swaybar 😜
excellent review, in detail how I like
Impressive!
Nice car, but besides just springs (as you have now, even tho they rubber bands) you will also need some shock ABSORPTION.
I think those tiny yellow pneumatic cylinders will be perfect, just don't connect any hose and there will be enough resistance to act as a shock absorber.
While keeping the amazingly sleek suspension setup as it is.
Well, that or some anti-roll torsion bars. Their response is easier to adjust via lever-length, which is a must in such a lightweight model.
NOICE
That is highkey fire. Espically the suspensions
Will you release instructions for this ? Its AMAZING!
Looking cool
Nicely done, just Great.
that just sick
this is amazing!
Oh my god this is really cool!
That’s awesome bro 😎 especially the suspension great work dude
nice build with integrated buggy motor on the back.. the steering and suspension look like the 8465 Extreme Off-Roader .
Nice car, looks increíble, the suspension looks like a long travel
Suspension system is amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
THE SUSPENSION IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saludos desde la República Del Congo de Sud-África
Nice job mate! I wish I could have Buwizz and a buggy motor too
Me too :)), wish u will have it soon BRO ;DD
You can buy those cheap chinese motors for just $18 shipped on aliexpress
yo yall need like different alt moters
green gecko lego technic workshops they sell all types of moters for like 1/2 the price
The music sounds like Camo and Krooked -All fall down, good video and love the car /design
Wow! This model is excellent💯
This is a great build! The only thing I would change is to make the suspension stiffer. In ground conditions like 5:15 you lose a lot of traction (and therefore speed and stability) because the suspersion is too bouncy. This is worse at the very back where the motor sits
Perfect.
hi! im trying to make my own rc buggy and this vid really inspired me, especially the suspension part, i dont have spare shocks and i was getting really confused on how to mount the back wheels to the chassis. Thanks!
the king!
Cool homemade
Great work 👍
video muy interesante, saludos desde El Salvador🇸🇻
Very nice creation !
whoda thunk, elastic bands making oil filled shocks look wanting. mind blown.
It looks amazing💪💪👍👍✌
its even have some damping wow
You must transfer/adapt this suspension system to the 8x8 MAZ-537! Outstanding...
Gran invento saludos desde 🇲🇽
Would be sooo cool to see the effect of 4 wheel steering on this. Seems like you could do it.
This is so awesome! :D
Great video !
fun fact with rubber band suspension, if you hook a band between each suspension arm, and link the front ones together it works better.
I feel like an alumi craft class 10 body would fit this perfectly
Or a Jeep
Truck
Nice video!!
Great video and fantastic technique used in this moc! I love it! Funny, that you are also using rubber bands for your suspension as i did that since the 1980s in my technic mocs as well as some modified parts to achieve what i wanted to do. But since mine were fully modelled, quite heavy mocs, i had to use more rubber bands and additionally custom spring shocks, which gives the suspension more strength and reduces the time the wheels "fly" without touching the ground. And your steering geometry is close to perfect, since the mechanic is nearly inside the wheel (don't know how to describe that better). I would at least add one more rubber band to your moc to stabilize the suspension a little and add a little more weight to the front, perhaps with a bumper construction.
If I had seen this as a kid, I'd have gone nuts building one. Good work!
Super buggy mais le mieux serait de faire une carrosserie hyper belle pour un meilleur résultat !!!🧐
That suspension is so perfect😁. And it's light, small and powerfull.
All in all that's a nearly perfect buggy😀😀
I don't say it is because I belive that nothing is perfect and everything could be optimized 👌. But I think to optimize that buggy is gonna be impossible😅
Nice
He’s back!
it would be so cool to have shock dampners. You could use sealed off pneumatic cylinders to make a dapmner, it would be large and the dampner would be pretty stiff, but if you made it heavier, it would be so cool
Way, 4x4 nice speed
Your video is really great and awesome, Love the way you decorate your content. SUBBED👍. Keep Update
Evan Braddock outro music let’s goo
I need to buy this
a suggestion: try adding a rc body shell to complete the offroad look ;)
dude this if fucking awesome. cant wait to build this with my kid
Good car!!!!!🚗🚗🚗
I love it! Do you have a part list or instructions?
YOU SHOULD MAKE A DRIFT CAR!
chassis works well, motor has pretty good top end, but it would be greatly improved by going away from bluetooth IR control and towards some hobby grade control stuff. Hobby grade servo, receiver, esc, 3s lipo battery.
You are the best
Could use some more dampening to plant better when taking off and be more stable while cornering and landing, but this is very impressive nonetheless.
You should definitely try to bring it on the beach and see how fast you can go
Lego should go down this road. With a bit more metal parts. Would be very cool. Cool video!!
Add a little camber to the front wheels so it may do better in the corners
