- At the time when Eden Hazard completed his €100million move from Chelsea to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019. He'd just come off the back of his second most successful individual season at Chelsea during which many began labelling him as arguably the best player in the Premier League at the time. However, several years into this transfer the Eden Hazard Real Madrid thought they bought was different from the one they got as injuries and fitness issues have derailed the ones promising career of Eden Hazard.
He is Real Madrid's highest paid player but he's not even close to being one of their best at this time. He was the man that was selected as a Cristiano Ronaldo replacement among many other options such as Neymar, Salah and Mane, but he just never hit the heights that were expected of him mostly due to his injuries.
This is the awfully strange decline of Eden Hazard.

I could remember one season either 2015/2016 or 2016 /2017 season when hazard was the player most fouled by opponents in the premier league 48 times in a 38 game season,and there were domestic competitions,european competitions along side "international competitions" for belgium,he got injured 7 times in the process of being fouled 48 times,broke his ankle and also had thigh injury in d same season,he went on next season and still did wonders and won the league for chelsea in 2017,after he got injured again by opponent players numerous times the following season sustaining various degrees of injuries,he got his ankle broken four times at chelsea before moving to mardrid,at mardrid he also got injured,u don't expect him to be the same given the fact he was an injury prone,so his injury scenario at chelsea are a major factor to his tragic fall in his football career at mardrid,he couldn't deliver and give individual performances like he did at chelsea,the injuries he sustained at chelsea really affected his mardrid career,for an injury prone player to be injured in his ankle four times,it will surely affect him and he can't be d same after d injuries
