Why Did Luis Suarez Bite?

Despite Luis Suarez being one of the best players of his generation, playing for some of the biggest clubs in world football and winning multiple team and individual accolades, his legacy will forever be stained by the three awful biting incidents he was subject of.
His victims were Otman Bakkal, Branislav Ivanovic and Giorgio Chiellini.
It's not often you see someone bite his opponents on the field and so naturally, this led to enormous backlash.
He got several punishments for his actions ranging from a seven-match ban for the Otman Bakkal incident to peaking at a four-month ban after the Chiellini incident.
Amidst all the controversies, the question on what was truly going on with him was being asked.
