The Inspirational Rise Of Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has just led Napoli their first Serie A title in over 30 years. Despite the striker being on the rise over the last few years, it all seems like it was this season that he utterly exploded. The Nigerian is surely on his way to becoming the first African player in Italian topflight history to win the golden boot and he's also on course to becoming Africa's player of the year 8 years after he was crowned Africa's Youth player of the year following an amazing under 17 world cup tournament with Nigeria.
The way Osimhen plays makes it seem like he really doesn't have any weaknesses. He's such a complete striker who's very good at scoring different types of goals. He's a striker that suits any type of system.
His style of play has even earned him comparisons with one of the greatest African players of all-time, Didier Drogba.
At the moment everything seems perfect for Osimhen but not many people know how bad Osimhen had to suffer to get to the position that he currently is today. He grew up poor and so, his family found it difficult to get basic amenities.
He was not living a good life but despite not having much, he had something which would ultimately take himself and his family out of poverty and that was football. Lucky for him, that passion he had in football was what ultimately helped him to now live the life he's always wanted.

If Erling Haaland never existed then Victor Osimhen would be the best striker in Europe coming from Africa. Not only he's a goal scorer, he also put 110% effort to the cause.
