As a 5'1 130lb woman I own 3 pistols. M&P 380 Shield EZ, M&P 9mm Shield Plus as well as Taurus 9mm G3C. My absolute favorite one is the 9 Shield Plus that's my EDC with the 15+1 mag from the Equalizer brand. My next favorite is the 380 Shield EZ I don't see why people have an issue with the grip safety I shoot that one way faster, anyways my Taurus is last. Only because in my opinion in a panic you want to stick with the same brand because they're all made pretty similar. My next one to buy will be the Equalizer.

The M&P EZ is considered a micro. I would recommend her the shield Plus since she’s already comfortable with the S&W, and it holds more rounds. Def do a build. Start a build series. Love watching those. Maybe have her try the hellcat as well.

Hey Chris great EDC testing with these popular semi-autos. Have you ever thought about putting or including revolvers into the mix, as I myself carry a LCR .38 +p system along with my Gen4 g19. What are your thoughts on bringing in the hammered or hammerless revolver?
I was a BIG Glock guy and I switched to Smith. My duty gun is Smith so I wanted to stay consistent.

My wife has the GX4XL. I used to carry it, but I gave it to her. I prefer full size guns for edc. They’re much more comfortable to shoot

If she likes the M&P but wants a micro carry, the M&P shield plus with a factory 15rd mag extension is a good recommendation. Fire gun. Honest Outlaws edc. Also one of my edc. Great gun. M&P all day. Great vid!

My EDC is a S&W M&P Shield 9mm. I’m a retired officer of 21yrs used to carry a 357 and she was a boat anchor. S&W 17 was my choice of carry for 21yrs.

its a great gun however when I do carry a M&P 2.0 I prefer the ones without the grip safety bs, I like the m&p 2.0 compact model 15+1 with the new flat face trigger and optics ready or the full size.

My wife edc a hellcat. She tried all the micros and landed on that. She was gonna go with the 365 but she compared side by side and liked the hellcat better
They also have Taurus GX4 Carry, it's the size of that XL but it had a light rail and optic ready.

You should definitely try shooting the 43X with one hand…. Just hear me out and give it a try 🙌🏽 I can honestly say I notice an ease of the snappy, seems like when trying to use 2 hands my support hand pushes too much against the frame so it’s like you’re fighting recoil plus your own overall grip/strength from the support hand.

What up ya'll, great vid. I'm not there so I can't say for sure. But it looks like Chay's shooting hand is doing a lot of work. Your support should be tight, down to the pinky. Loosen the right hand just a bit. That should keep you from going low left. And both eyes open, don't cripple yourself. Great vid ya'll

I will say she goes with hers because it is the one she is used to. But it wouldn’t surprise me if she liked the G43X as well. I EDC either a Walther PDP or a DR920.
So I'm really not biased towards any manufacturer but my MP 2.0 compact. It feels like the softest shooting gun I've ever shot. So as much as I like locks especially the 45 and the 48 IEDC, the M&P 2.0 compact.

The optics ready m&p shield plus with the eternal safety would have been the best pistol for her in my opinion. Unfortunately I wasn't there to provide my wisdom 😂.
