  • Trying to catch a UK rare fish! Graeme and Wayne go inshore fishing in search of a Trigger Fish, an elusive species that visits UK waters in the summer and autumn. They may even stay year-round, but nobody seems to know. Using small hooks and baits like Ragworm and razor thin Cuttlefish strips the duo have some good fun with a variety of species. Anchored in shallow water it just goes to show that you don't have to take the boat miles out to sea in order to find a bit of fun fishing....Enjoy.

And another great video. Good to see Wayne looking well. With so many restrictions around, there are a lack of new boat fishing videos coming from TA fishing. That made this all the more a treat. I love seeing the mixed bag of species from an off shore session. Take extra care out there Graeme. Within a mile of Cove, there are 8 of my most precious friends that are covid positive. Protecting himself from what? Fishing is allowed during lockdown including boat fishing as well as fishing with people from your household or 1 person from another household

I hold over 30 films backed up at any one time...but with Covid lockdowns I am ploughing through them. You may as well enjoy them while you can ,once they are gone, that's it . I'm too old to want to risk Covid,we all think we are a copy of Superman, but I don't really fancy testing it out,so I'm hunkering down .There is no decent fishing within the 5 miles of my house, which I have heard is the limit. Plus the weather plays a part..I hate the winter cold,I don't know why it was ever invented..I'm happier with oppressive humidity....

    Just read this....👀
If you live in England, this is applicable
Latest Government advice for recreational boating
British Marine have had it confirmed by the UK Government that boating is a form of exercise and therefore is an accepted excuse to leave home in England. There are several important caveats to this, primarily that members of the public cannot travel out of their local area to reach their vessel and that all exercise must be done in line with government guidance i.e. can only be done with members of 1 household/bubble or one other and social distancing is maintained. Members of the public are urged to check with the local navigation authority, harbour authorities and the Marinas for local rules before travelling to their vessels.
    DfT released the following statement:
"We have received clarification on guidance relating to boating and leisure activities from CO/DCMS.
Therefore, we can confirm that boating is allowed as exercise (in England). This covers all sailing boats/yachts as long as they abide by the gathering limits, social distance rules and stay local rules.”
British Marine would like to remind all boaters of their responsibility to stay safe, abide by the guidance and laws (including local restrictions) and keep others around them safe when participating on any on water exercise.
