    After I first saw Bob tear an apple apart I tried it myself and it wasn't easy, but it was easier than I thought and I managed to do it. Now I have a card ready if I'm ever on would I lie to you.

    If an apple is left on the tree it will naturally split in half. This is actually one of the pressures of the harvest; to get them in before they split.

    My mum was born in 1925. They were very poor. Her mother made her a potato dolly which she loved, but one day it was gone as it was needed for dinner. Very upsetting even 70 years later.

    I know what Gregg Wallace means; at first i thought he meant a steam iron as well, but i also prefer toast made with direct heat, as from a hot surface, than the indirect heat of a toaster. i make toast in a skillet, on the stove top; doesn't flatten the bread at all.

    I was thinking to myself why anyone would be bothered by a builder sitting in their bathtub. What absolute absurdity; that prompt isn’t remotely believable. But then I remembered that a certain gentleman used his nail clippings to pick his teeth and realized that the bathtub scenario wasn’t ridiculous at all.

      What, Vegemite is far superior to its rival Marmite!! Vegemite is much easier to spread on buttered toast, than that goopy runny, drips everywhere Marmite.....
      Oh,, been to Australia twice back in the 90's, Darwin (sea wasps), and Brisbane (also the river down to the Zoo) and had a great time, and friendly people......😄

      There are trace amounts of cyanide in apple seeds, but you can safely ingest them. It only gets moderately dangerous if you eat more than 150, but who would even want that
