I just finished the game. I can't believe the first part came out almost 5 years ago. I've been staring at the "thanks for playing" ending screen. And that soft piano music has got me crying for half and hour nonstop. I feel like something inside of me has shattered and will never be the same.
You should play cytus 2 it was quite an experience.. when it ends the end song play with the credit of people behind the game, all through the credit I cried and like half an hour after too.. seeing your comment remind me of my experience on it.. I probably have to try this game too
At the end of the day it's up to the executive of the game studio that decide which game they want to put in nomination, and square enix being the greedy company chose to put their highest selling game instead of fan favorite one
The music is what got me into it, rarely is a soundtrack so good it can stand alone from the game and even be a major drawing-in point. It's a beautiful piece of music
I was blown away by this song and the intro, especially when you see Hikari walking down the desert and the clouds casting shadows on him. Everytime I sat to play the game, I would let the intro run just cause it was that good.
This is my favourite game of all time. The characters, the locations, the gameplay, the music, the story... Everything it's perfect for me. This is a game that I wait for so long, and I cam believe what we gain with this Thanks square. Thanks for making the perfect rpg
Why does this not have more views? I just got this game, wasn’t intending on doing much more tonight than seeing which characters there were to play, and the music completely blindsided me. Wow. What amazingly beautiful music. Makes me want to play maybe a few minutes before I fall asleep.
@BikkeBane Copyright striking such beautiful music it would be great if they would just let fans celebrate it. It'll only bring the game more popularity, but whatever. Corporation is gonna corporation I guess
@@irecordwithaphone1856 It does kinda make sense as they're not getting revenue from it (though they could just copyright claim it instead without removing the video altogether and then they'd get all ad revenue from it) but in that case, just upload it to the official Square YT channel or Spotify or smth. Clearly there's an audience for video game OSTs online so they should capitalize on that but Square is still 20 years in the past and only want to earn revenue through CD sales, which still sell well in Japan but not so much the rest of the world.
Just started playing this game and found this music so epic that at that starting point where you choose one of eight characters, I was like "maybe I shouldn't choose a character, but just stay at this screen because the music is so brilliant", so I do consider that a positive sign ;) I'm so happy to finally get to play this game, it seems brilliant
never played Octopath Traveler before but knew some things abut it fromthe trailers for the second one and watched a bit of it being played on Silvervale's stream when she decided to play as Osvald, game looked fun enough for me to try it out after researching a little more on it without spoilers and fell in love with some of the characters... bought it.... and dear god did this song made me feel like i was going to be on one hell of adventure, even more than from what already knew. still in the beginning after Picking Throne and then meeting Temenos, then Osvald but i defo WANT to see this game through the end immediately.
You know what this song makes me think of. The ex hero being convinced to journey with others again. Be it their old party, their discipe/successer and their friends, or both. This song is them finding that spark again, and it bursts into flames. Or the ex hero showing up and saving the team, showing that they were never rusty, and the spark of a hero ignites within them once again.
I got this game about a month after releasing because I heard the first one was good... almost sixty hours later, and it has become a top seven favorite game...
I just realized pc version of octopath traveler 2 has been released a week ago, not that steam version if u know what I mean. Maybe I could take a break when I am tired of baldur's gate 3.
