I'm related to buford pusser :P My grandpa told me a story about him getting in a gunfight at this bar. I can't remember the whole details, but they were lynching black folks and stealing their shit, and he got pissed off and when he went in the bar some chick pulled a shotgun on him, and he shot her in the head, and 2 other guys pulled guns on him and he ended up killing 1 guy I know, and I think the second he wounded, and he might have died later on. I don't see why you have to hate something just because it's related to the south or because of an accent. I mean you don't get stories from california or new york other than things about rape, murder, police brutality, or something along those lines.
