I feel very bad for Buford too lose the love of his life and then the condition that he was in after the assassination attempt on his life you know it had to be very hard on him to bury her but he stayed strong though it all. I don't think many men could have done what he did RIP Buford and your wife too i hope you got to see her again in heaven
I can easily imagine the song playing in a boutique in a flashback scene in an animated theatrical movie version of the animated series “KING OF THE HILL” as Peggy Hill helps Lenore prepare for her wedding to Buck Strickland.
Sounds allot like Farley Taylor's "Too late to bring pretty flowers"..if it was polished up with a background quartet it could have been a hit when the 1st movie was released.
Buford was a standout for all Americans.
Very beautiful R.I.P. sheriff pusser and your wife Pauline and you are together again.
They belong to the ages.
