- So, I recently had to switch to some new software, and I'm still trying to get the hang of it. As a result, Disney's Hamilton is TEMPORARILY on hold (don't worry, I'm not done with it yet; I've already got ideas for what the next few videos will be, too), while I experiment with some other videos.
This is one of them. I wanted to create a tribute to various versions of Captain Hook, and decided the song "Revenge is Gonna Be Mine" from "Once Upon a Time" fit my plan perfectly. Not much else to say. :P

Out of all the Hooks there have been, my fav is Colin O'Donoghue! He fits the character so well!
I love anyone who has played Hook no matter if I've seen it before.
I disagree in that he's not a traditional fit for Captain Hook, who is supposed to be a bit of a pompous, preening character (though still threatening). OUAT's Captain is almost like a rock star pirate, so not really much like the usual Hook but a great character in his own right (which makes senses, as that series is all about different takes on stories)

Killain Jones/Captain Hook is My All Time Favorite Character in Once Upon a Time and My All Time Favorite Version of Captain Hook. Colin O'Donoghue did a Magnificent Performance Bringing a Very Tragic and Heroic Version of Captain Hook to Life.

Dustin Hoffman and Captain Hook from Disney Peter Pan 1953 and Return to Neverland are my favourite versions! And I love Hook 1991, Disney Peter Pan 1953, Peter Pan 2: Return to Neverland and Jake and the Neverland pirates series! And it reminds me of "Destroy the book" song from the episode "Battle for the Book" but that's better than his song from Jake and the Neverland pirates!

The reason ouat hook isn’t on the best is because it’s not very accurate towards what hook is supposed to be but maybe he’s a very accurate young hook I think
Killian is after this one. He came back from Neverland he wanted to kill the Dark one but he changed because he loved Emma.

Well it's a good way to subvert our expectations. And honestly. If he was like the other Captain Hook's. He could of been lost in the shuffle. Making him the swashbuckling ladies man is a nice modern and unique take on Captain Hook. And Colin played the role amazing. Plus OUAT is meant to be different and retelling of all fairy tales. I mean Evil Queen shouldn't have been beautiful. But OUAT changed it. The point of the OUAT Hook was to give a new modern, fresh, and very interesting take on the Captain Hook character. If you do the same thing forever. It'll get boring.
@@domgeek5632 I think the evil queen was supposed to be evil, hook wasn't very accurate the reason for this comment I think is because its what I was thinking compared to others saying he's the best hook, Colin wasn't the best hook for the reasons I listed, but Colin is my favourite but he's not the best hook. If u get what I mean.

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Captain Hook and Choosing Revenge is Gonna Be Mine By Colin O’ Donoghue from Once Upon a Time was a Perfect Choice for Captain Hook.

Given the song with this video I'm confused. As much as I understand the revenge part. And I know no one wants to tamper with the lyrics. But I still feel like the lyric should have been. "Soon Peter Pan will fear and suffer this pirate's rawth" , for cutting off my hand and throwing it to that croc"
That’s because it’s sung by the Captain Hook from Once Upon A Time.
And he has a different story.(Spoilers for OUAT!!)
The croc he sings about in the song is just a nickname anyway for his enemy who cut of his hand. Who was not Pan in his story, but a powerful user of dark magic.
He is still rivals with Pan, well it’s complicated . Pan is a dark character in OUAT ( which really is closer to J M Barrie’s original than Disney’s was), and he’s more of a villain than Hook is.

can you possibly list the captain hooks that you used in the vid. i recognise that classic disney hook from peter pan, the hook from the peter pan movie where peter pan is an adult, & 1 from a broadway version of peter pan [possibly the 1 showen at 0:07]. its possible that i might have seen another version of a live action peter pan at the 0:40, 0:57-0:59 spot
