- Remember the drop tower ride on the movie Zombieland? Well now there is an ACTUAL REAL RIDE based on it! Motiongate Dubai have opened a new attraction based on the movie! Check out the onride POV of the drop tower as well as highlights of the queue!

That is the most themed queue for a drop tower I've ever seen.
Alex I. Well, there are also things like the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in WDW.
Its honestly so cool, while your queuing the lockers are constantly being banged on as if something is inside and before you shoot up to the top of the ride the ride operator says really creepily "bye bye" as they wave and you just zoom straight to the top. Completely terrifying but worth it.

I went to it the past week they developed the entrance even more with vids of zombies attacking u outside and noises it was soo cool and creepy
would of been even better if zombies came out after you got on the ride
They did one day! They usually come out when there is a long line!

True. I can't believe I didn't realize that til now. I can remember almost all the funny parts now. I was about 8 when this movie came out. my favorite part was when the one guy (forgot his name) was running away from the zombies in the amusement park, and it was in slow motion. I used to die when the 2 zombies got hit by the spiny ride. Lol.

Actually that scene was shot in Valdosta, GA, where I live, in an amusement park called wild adventures. The drop ride is actually called the firecracker and it is actually quite fun. Also funfact, my middle school drama teacher was an extra in Zombieland.

That's interesting that it is a combo tower. Looks like it adds quite a shot of air at the top, too.

It combines the thing I'm terrified of most; zombies, clowns, and heights. I like drop rides, I just don't like seeing how highly up I am. Hence why I still loved the tower of terror when it was still open

On thT ride i almost lost my phone on the drop down as i was snapchatting everything from Above, it was so high up you could see all of the parks
