well if you were to ride this in the day that would be no problem as you’d be dried by the sun
now doing this at night is another story, because if you didn’t know the sun isn’t up at night
so basically you’re gonna be drenched and cold for the rest of the night
@versthappening603 happened to me last night😂 I was in front row, far right. Got drenched. Was soaked for a solid 4 hours😂 even when I got home, my pants were still damp, but my shirt dried off. Thankfully it wasnt a cold night.
@@versthappening603😂during the early times they still get wet but at night they give no mercy to people and people look like they went for a swim
The attention to detail is nuts! Universal really know how to design a great ride.
Yeah, it's amazing. It is one of the best water attractions we've ever ridden in terms of theming.
Can’t say that about all the other trash simulation rides they have

We just went for the first time in a very long time, and yes Universal Hollywood is another world from 20years ago, this Jurassic World ride is worth riding at night and that last drop scared the hell out of us lol
It's an awesome ride, we loved it 🙂
I must mention, this ride was fun. The Jurassic World atmosphere made me remember the past films of the JP saga. I'm proud to have grown up with this.

Jurassic World was such a bust of a movie series. The updates are so well done but to enter the gates of Jurassic Park in it's prime was unforgettable

OK for anyone thinking about going on this who’s scared of big drop, I’m gonna be honest, I wouldn’t recommend it. I loved the ride but the drop at the end basically is vertical irl and it feels terrifying. 10/10 rollercoaster but maybe try something diff if you’re not a drop fan. ❤

i finally went on it for the first time since it was re-themed, and i liked it very much, but one thing bothers me in hindsight: Hadrosaur Cove was taken out. it makes for a bit of a plot hole--in the original ride, you're "supposed" to go in there but the parasaurolophus bumps you off-course and that's why you go into the area with the carnivores. here, you were obviously supposed to be going there, so what point does the para really have for being there except for being part of the original ride infrastructure?

I was there in August of 1996. Fun ride! Too bad they don't have a Jeep falling down and splashing everyone. It was fun. Thank you for filming
Thank you for watching 🙂 The jeep sequence was part of the original movie, so understand why it had to be removed. It was, however, a great prop. They still have it at Universal Studios Florida, as they still have the original version of the ride 🙂

They completely redid this ride. Not the same experience I remember from 3 years ago. I really enjoyed this version! Nice to see them, no pun intended “evolve” with this ride! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Yes, it's a totally different ride experience now. It's not for everyone, but we really enjoyed it🙂
I remember i got to ride this when it was Jurassic Park themed some good memories I made
but this one is better and i never been more happy to go on a ride before
The original ride will always be a classic, we also loved the re-themed ride.

Do people come back and rewatch all of the old Jurassic Park rides back in 1996 to 2018??
I do even though I have never been to Universal Studios Hollywood or anything like that, it’s so fun to just vision myself on the ride, I absolutely love the suspenseful ending and the large T. Rex popping up at people roaring loudly at us. This newer version is awesome to as the dinosaur is walking up to you and roaring down at them but I prefer watching the older rides as it seems more suspenseful and scary kind of lol….

I love roller coasters but Jurassic World’s drop still gets me
I'm a child and that drop made me basically scream. I felt like my heart sank and my mom ALMOST FELL. Was fine after tho
@jrndis It's perfectly safe, there is no possibility of falling out 🙂 The drop can however take you a little by suprise if you're not expecting it.
@@XtremeCoasters my mom was holding onto a phone lol.. not a lap bar, she was elevated out of the seat abit but ty for the reassurance. Scared me alot

@universalsoul7653 The Florida ride is unfortunately showing its age now. A lot has been removed, so it's no longer the experience it used to be. The Hollywood ride is totally different. We have a POV up of the old Hollywood Jurassic Park ride in the classic footage playlist if you wanted to watch to compare 🙂

It really is! We loved it.
I went on that ride it was a nightmare to me first I saw a few dinosaurs and got wet but when it got dark and we started going up I Got so scared and new there was a drop coming I saw a velociraptor holding broken wires after I saw a trex until the drop came I hold on the handle like if it was the last I would do i was glad it was over
Why do the dinosaurs from the ride look better than the movies…. It’s crazy how the first jarassic park movie basically used animatronics just like the ride!
They have done an amazing job on this ride. We were so impressed by it.
I'm glad I rode it just before the Revamp! That being said I still need to go and ride this!

Having seen the Beijing one on CZcams, wish USH could introduce the Indominus the way it was done there ie was literally chasing the vehicle (which looks amazing).
Did they reduce the last drop into 2 small ones? I cried on the old school one cuz I can’t handle roller coasters of any sort and pushed myself to go on the JP one 😂😭😂
The height of the final drop has not changed as far as we're aware.

when i went on it i tried to scream when it dropped but i was actually unable to
i didn’t anticipate it being as steep as it was so when i went to scream all i could get out was a “ughhghhhh” 😭😭😭

We love them both, but after riding Jurassic World in California and Jurassic Park in Florida last year, we prefer Jurassic World.

Pretty certain the drop has remained the same. Drops pretty much always look far shorter in POVs for some reason.

I haven’t been to Universal Studios in Hollywood since the ride first opened! 😳… I grew up just a half hour from there and we went a lot during the 70s and 80s, (even had my senior prom at the Universal Sheraton in the early 80 lol.. but after I got married and moved away to Northern California, it was rare to go to Universal Studios. We were there with my brother when there was the Back to the Future Ride and E.T. Ride. Maybe the late 90s 🤷🏻♀️… I know it’s changed a lot there. I might have to take my nieces, the two youngest nieces might be too scared to go on the tram tour though. I’ve only been to Universal City Walk a few times, too expensive to park there and all the shops are restaurants are so expensive. I haven’t been in over ten years. I still want to take my nieces though 😁

Yes, it is. It has the mini pre-drop inside the dark section, then the final drop at the end. But no fast twist or turns 🙂

They did a excellent job with refurbishing this ride to make it look like the film: Jurassic World.

How big are the drops? I’m going tomorrow and I really want to go on, but I get bad anxiety with the drops.
There is really only the one drop at the end, that's around 85 ft (26 meters). The smaller pre-drop is barely noticeable.

@stardustgirl2904 Not really, the drops aren't massive or too intense, the last drop is just enough to give people a bit of a thrill 🙂

Im going tomorrow and i dont like roller-coasters because I cant handle big drops. Can someone tell me how this drop really is? It looks pretty small but i keep seeing comments saying its intense, are they being sarcastic????? Someone please help me!
The drop is nothing like a roller coaster drop, it's more like a giant log flume drop. It's over so quick (around 2 seconds), you're pretty much at the bottom before you realise what's happening.
My hands are sweating just watching. I've gone on 1 time in the last 3 years. I'm taking my son for his birthday and I have to go on with him. 🫨😖😫
The part when the parasaralophus emerges from the water is very startling

Hey xtreme do you know The recording policy for like GoPros and insta360s for universal studios Hollywood because I assume this is a GoPro pov
Hey, yes, this was filmed with a GoPro secured to my hand with the GoPro hand strap. Not too sure what their official policy is, but the ride ops saw the GoPro strapped to my hand and saw me filing, they didn't seem to mind. If we were told it was not allowed or to stop filming, we of course would have.

@@theloop4630 I just had my GoPro 11 strapped onto the hand strap. Nothing fancy, just well secured 🙂

The updates look good, but I’m always going to miss those Ultrasaurs from before their necks broke.
It was an epic opening to see them when you first went through the gates.

They hide it well. You can only really see the bottom of the drop from the outside of the ride.

Can you film with ur phone the ride??
You're not supposed to have any loose articles on rides, just in case the phone comes out of your hand and inures another rider by hitting them. They would likely stop the ride if you were spotted. This was filmed with a GoPro securely attached to our body with 3 independent locking clips, just to make sure it was 100% secure.

The fact I went on it today on the front people are lying when they say you don't get wet in the front it's the most scariest ride I ever been in
You get wetter if you sit at the sides of the boat. We were towards the middle, so it wasn't too bad 🙂

the old version of the ride was 1000x better. all the screens and lack of actual animatronics was extremely disappointing.
Also one final question what are your GoPro settings because my pov was extremely blurry
