The man working there that day was extremely pleasant sounding. He was very calm. Scenery most people only see in movies and video games.
That was amazing. A million times better than the under two minute rides in theme parks.

Too often sad news arrives from abroad these days, so I just wanted to see a peaceful and beautiful scene of spring scenery of a herd of deer resting under cherry blossoms in Nara Park, a famous tourist spot in our country, and CZcams introduced this video to me as a related video.
I have never been to Germany, a country that lies beyond Japan by several oceans and skies, but I am glad that I could see the view of the Alps in this way outside of TV.
The green color of the trees, the blue sky, and the red color of the roofs of the houses are so beautiful.
While watching this video, I felt like I was taking a walk in Germany, a country I should have never been to.
I thought,It would be very fun to ride bicycles through these places with family and friends.
I have traveled to France, Italy and Czech Republic when I was a student and I would like to visit Germany if I have the chance.

Hello again, to the country where many great queens and kings, famous fairies and ghosts, and poets, novelists, scientists, and politicians were born.
In fact, in Japan, English and other languages are rarely used in daily conversation or at work, and all conversations, work, and shopping are done in Japanese only, so there are many Japanese people like me. When they watch CZcams like I do now, they either use a translation tool to read the meaning or make a short comment, somehow enjoying the atmosphere of foreign videos while imagining or guessing "maybe this is what they are talking about".
So I am sure I misread the description you wrote.
I have heard that European countries have complicated relations and many different manners due to their long history. I am sorry if I have surprised you in any way by my comment.
But if you find Japan as interesting as you like the beautiful scenery of Germany, please visit Japan someday.
There is a comic book published and translated into English called "Isabella Bird in Wonderland" about an old English traveler who traveled around Japan when the country was just opened to the outside world. However,I believe that the scenery and lifestyle of modern Japan are also fresh and interesting to people from Europe.

Most places I have been in Europe every is very welcoming and friendly it's just a few countries and places that have issues. Your Japanese culture looks very different from Europe (in a good way) and I'd love to be able to experience it at some point.

American guy here. I had the privilege of spending the day in Oberammergau about 9 years ago. It was truly a lovely place and I wish desperately to return some day.

It looks like the person ahead was slowing as they were soon to approach the finish anyway. The "langsam" (slow) sign was right there. So that wasn't bad - 99.9% of your ride was super (ow) fast!
It might be nice to have two tracks there: a slower one for sightseers to enjoy the Oberammergau scenery, and then one with no brakes for thrillseekers to enjoy the adrenaline rush all the way downhill! 😅
Probably still some brakes, just for safety reasons.

Garmisch and Oberammergau and the area surrounding them are some of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I wish I had known about the Alpine Coaster. Nice ride.

Beautiful country, think the roller ride was added after my time there. The cable car was my ride up&,down with snow on the Mt. Tops.
Dayuum...I was stationed at Berchtesgaden in the early 70s and remember skiing at Oberammergau! What a great chance to revisit with a new technology! Thanks for the memories!!!

That looks better than any roller coaster I've ever been on!
Those are actually pretty lame. Brakeless top speed is low and the track design is really poor, and to top it off 90% of the time you'll be stuck crawling at snail's pace behind other people, which is not fun at all. With respect to that, only proper rollercoasters can really be fun, but they're all short simply because high speed = short ride.

@@michaelbuckers Yeah if they removed the super low speed limiters and fixed the absolutely horrid track profiling (and removed the brakes, if you don't like going fast why are you on a roller coaster), it could be a pretty great terrain coaster.
Another issue with the brakes is since people can be wimps and slow down to a crawl, the entire track has to be exclusively downhill to prevent cars from getting stuck. Which also greatly limits the types of elements which can be designed.
Imagine for a moment, describing this video to your ancestors 10,000 years ago.

As someone who loves roller coasters, I’ve always wanted to try one of these kinds in particular, ever since i initially found out about them.

that looks like a great ride. The only problem with those rides that have breaks is you always seem to get stuck behind someone who shouldn't be riding on a roller coaster who rides the breaks half the way and ruins it for everyone behind them.
Well, luckily people will still get on these kinds of mountain rail rides because it’s really fun and adventure, even if the person realizes it’s too fast for them, they still keep going but slower around tighter the corners. Some people go too fast to catch up too close to the other person, so it works both ways.

Now THAT is a mountain coaster. We just got back from Gatlinburg where we rode a couple of them. They don't have anything there comparable to this....probably a result of limited space compared to where you were. That thing you rode was next-level...and then some! :)

I'm with you, Shirley! I have never ridden a roller coaster, but if were possible to go slow - or as slow as we wanted, I'd ride it. I just don't like speed, coupled with curves and peaks and dips.

Its a fun mountain coaster. Oberammergau is a very beautiful and tranquil place to visit. Down the road is the Ettal Monastery which makes awesome beer and go a bit further and you can go to Garmisch, another awesome town to visit. Cant wait to go back there some day.

I did one in June. The "Ow Aspect" is very real if you don't use brakes, meaning that there is not much of a suspension, and the cart is following the track no matter what.
Hello from California! What a fun and wild ride! I would love to do that very much. We have a few out here around the U.S. The closet rail ride is in William, Arizona. We were in that town in mid-January so it was closed for the winter since they get a lot snow. I would love to travel abroad more and hopefully see this beautiful country and see everything I can and go on this rail ride. That would be amazing and so much fun! 😁
Hi, you definitely should. The Alps are amazing, some fantastic roads and villages to explore. Not too far from here is a place called Neuschwanstein castle. As well worth checking out

@@AndysAdventures89 Me too; it was wonderful, especially at 1.5 speed! The reason we could feel your experience was that you did not have a Go-Pro...and if U did, you did not spoil the thrill like so many do, by swiveling their heads back-and-forth.
