I just got this in Turkiye a week ago with body jet technique (I didn't go with Vaser) and my chin is still wrapped and I paid only 400 dollars. My doctor is really good. I got lipo from her before too

I literally got mine done yesterday by Dr. Patel I’m very swollen, I’m on day 2 as I write this like very swollen I can’t see pass the swelling. But the on table before and after pics that they took yesterday the day of surgery I can see the difference. We’ll see as the days go how my results will come out can’t wait to see my full recovery results especially!

@@heskeygaze well I got mine done with Dr. Patel 4 days ago and I am ok my results so far. The chin strap is driving me insane with itch but I used some anti-itch cream, chamomile lotion and placed a cotton strip inside the strap and that has really helped. Overall things are looking good from my front profile… from my 45° and side profile I really hope there’s some more improvement as right now the sides of my chin still look “full” compared to the center (which looks flat and tight). I’m hoping this is just liquid from swelling and that once I start massage it’ll drain away 🙏🏼
I'm 2 months post up, I followed all of Dr's orders. All in all my double chin is not as severe but I still have one. I thought I was going to be chizzled chizzled like my bone showing more or at least not having the double chin. It's not a drastic change idk I guess I was expecting something more noticeable. And yes everyone is different so different results I know that

What happens if you lose a lot of weight after chin lipo?
Probably not much since the fat is already gone.
Let’s say you’re overweight and you got a chin lipo in order to get rid of a double chin as well as adipose tissue in the neck region.
Well, if you lose weight after that, it’s the other fat parts of your body that you’re gonna lose, you’re not gonna lose fat in the face since it’s already mostly gone.

You should continue to see improvement. Wait atleast 3 months. Keep wearing your head wrap. Talk to whoever did your surgery

Hi doctor I’m 2weeks post op buccel and double chin removal the results are drastic but I have yet to find any videos on lumps and bumps or hard areas ….internet talks about how it’s normal but there is no video or pictures explaining if it’s normal and what will help or if it just needs time ….please need help with questions on how post op is supposed to go …done messages everyday and don’t see much of a difference on the texture of the skin getting better :(

Heads up you may still be swollen that's why you can't see results. I know they say 2 weeks but everyone is different my friends swelling only went completely down in 5 months and then she saw results

I did this surgery combined with a bbl and they accidentally let me go home for the weekend without a chin strap until my post op 72hrs later
I can tell I have swelling now, and have been compressing since my appointment. Did they ultimately mess up my results? or is there time to recover
I’m just under 5 weeks post op and while I’ve seen a lot of improvement over the last week I’m concerned about some unevenness. My left side under my jaw seems significantly fuller than my right and I’m worried it’s residual fat that will never go away. It’s possible it’s swelling because I can feel a scar tissue lump in the area but if it is in fact scar tissue/swelling is it too late in the healing process for the skin to still retract once the scar tissue finally dissipates?
Yes it’s very possible it’s swelling or uneven scar formation

I'm confused - I thought fat storage occurs in fat cells. So if you're removing the fat, you should be removing the fat cells they are contained in.
This, I thought, is the primary difference between lipo and weight loss where the fat cells simply shrink in size. Can you explain to a layman?
I’ll tell you my experience after 2 rounds of 360 Vaser lipo. The fat can come back in the areas lipo’d but not as bad as before the surgery. Also when you make efforts to lose weight it returns to how it was following lipo. So the weight can definitely come back but not as bad as before. The area will look good again if they lose weight.

@@SPAFacialPlastics Liposuction removes fat cells permanently. You're the only surgeon who says otherwise. There is plenty of data that shows that liposuction reduces the number of fat cells in the liposuctioned area by the millions. In addition, it was the higher number fat cells what made an specific area "problematic" otherwise it wouldn't be problematic at all and people wouldn't be looking into getting surgery for it. This is why BBL works, because they INCREASE the number of fat cells in the buttocks area, literally turning it into a "problematic" area, which in this case is desired and attractive. People have stubborn areas due to having a higher number of fat cells there. Liposuction reduces the number of fat cells, basically turning a problematic area into non problematic area. The remaining fat cells can still enlarge, of course. The only way your body will create more fat cells after liposuction is if you become morbidly obese, where your current number of fat cells can no longer hold more energy. If liposuction results could simply be negated by weight gain and fat cells are not removed, then nobody would be getting a surgery that can be easily ruined like that. It would be a complete waste of time and money. The appeal of liposuction is the removal of fat cells. Past adulthood, your body will not create more fat cells unless you become morbidly obese. I've read this is several plastic surgery books and journals. Fact that you don't know this despite all the literature out there is alarming.
He says the stronger your chin the better results you get which is funny to me because I had a physician tell me when I was first getting kybella injections at 22 yrs old to "stop chewing gum because it will widen the appearance of my jaw" (from a straight on view of my face) and that was apparently unfeminine and not desirable. BUT IT WILL TONE UP THAT AREA!!! I think I'd rather take the widening jaw strengthening approach because the Kybella didn't have a huge impact. To be fair though, I did only two rounds of it done.

Will kybella remove fat cells?
You have to do kybella multiple times and it ends up be pretty similar in price to lipo and lipo is a one time procedure that has permeant results

They’re definitely permanent unless you gain weight. The fat cells are removed during lipo.

I’ve just seen a video where the doctor said the fat cells are removed permanently. If you gain weight the fat can come back somewhere else but not in the same place because those cells have gone forever.

Be patient. Your Dr should have told you it take 4 to 6 months to get your final results. Wear your garment, drink water, and eat less salt.
I feel the same. It's been over a month and I look the same and still have a lot of pain and lumps in my cheeks
