  • OnAir Company is a career mode add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3d that I love using. This is the seventh video in an ongoing series where I show you how to build your virtual airline company. In this video, we'll learn about constructing Basecamps, which are persistent airstrips that you place yourself within the OnAir world.

Could you please make that Part 8 video? I've been using OnAir since 2020 and this has really helped. I mostly just do missions. I'm lvl 19 now and I am interested it starting my first FBO with factories.

Very helpful, Kip! Maybe I'll rent a STOL plane and plop my tent down in my university's football stadium, hehe. Wouldn't do much business there, though!

Very thorough, as always. Love the little detail about how to "spawn" at a base camp since the Sim doesn't know it exists. Was wondering how that would work right before you explained it!

Another great video guide - this new industry and camps stuff is an interesting addition.
I've not resubbed on my On Air yet, but I'll have to see if little old Blighty has enough space around size 2 airports at some point 😉
Actually just re-activated my old On Air but the business has been reset and hopefully I sent a ticket correctly to try to restore my past progress, we have to see how it goes.
I like to set up a Conkers base camp in UK 😂
Look forward to factories to come 👍

How does mining work? I have found two spots with 100% mining using the ore detector. Do I need to physically place my mining camp right over that area in flight sim?

Hi Kip. Please help a fellow OnAir pilot out with creating a Forest type basecamp? Apparently, it involves the use of Google Api to determine if there is vegetation or not.

How did you managed that it looks like autumn?

I use Rex Accuseason. You can also use the Bijan trees that are available in the marketplace for a similar result, though it doesn’t change terrain color like Rex does.
