  • OnAir Company is a career mode add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3d that I love using. This is the forth video in an ongoing series where I show you how to build your virtual airline company. In this video, we'll learn how take a check ride to earn a certification for a new plane type, and then how to fly the Level 2 Mission, which has two legs.

    Your videos are so freakin good and helpful, thank you!
    Could Part 5 be on starting and running FBOs as well as some of the new features around industries please?
    I’ve learned OnAir and ILS landings from you and you’ve increased my overall appreciation for MSFS tenfold.
    Thank you and keep making more great videos.!

    I am looking forward to your next OnAir videos. These are the best videos of OnAir on the entire internet. Great job. Thanks Kip!

      Thanks! More to come! FBOs are up next, I just needed to wait some real-world time to get a couple configured :-)

    I am really enjoying the OnAir Series. I am anxious for the FBO tutorial...I have purchased 3 and am thinking it was a waste of money at this point (mostly because I do not know what I am doing). Keep up the good work.

      They're worth it if you utilize the FBO Queries, especially to have your AI pilots fly those generated missions with Work Orders. Or, if you have a large fleet and want to avoid parking fees, configure your FBO with many tiedowns :-)

    Love your videos! They have helped me so much! I do have a question. i ended up accidently deleting my level mission job, and now cant find it anywhere in job search to accept it again. How can i find where my level missions are so i can choose and do that mission? Thanks!

    The Black Square 208 is the same aircraft as the stock 208. All BS did was change the panel out. They describe all this on their website.

    Kip...I discovered OnAir via your channel is I'm having a blast with it! I'm a business owner IRL, so getting to mix business + flying is great. When is your part 5 coming out?

    • @KipOnTheGround
      @KipOnTheGround  Před rokem

      Hey Trent! It's been delayed due to some real-life things that unfortunately have left my Stratus Company bankrupt in OnAir, (daily rental fees, yikes!) so I may have to redo a new company from scratch to finish up the FBO video. Sorry for the wait -- but I do intend to make it when I have the time.

    • @TrentDyrsmid
      @TrentDyrsmid Před rokem

      @@KipOnTheGround ugh. That suck about your company going broke! I’ve actually been keeping close tabs on mine and have two full time AI pilots out flying (via work orders) every day.

    @mikevadnais7722 Před rokem +1

    Kip, you need to do another OnAir segment about FBO's in detail.

    • @KipOnTheGround
      @KipOnTheGround  Před rokem +1

      I know it. Sorry for the long wait, but life has gotten in the way a bit the last couple months. I do want to continue the series, but actually need to redo my OnAir company since it's way in the red after not using it for a while 😂

      @Kip on the Ground Understandable, being retired now, I went through a few of those life test moments myself. Seems like the world comes to an abrupt stop. You have immense talent, and I am sure you will come back better than before. Thanks for taking the time you give to all of us.

    Could you do a guide of regular routes, i cant figure it out.

    • @KipOnTheGround
      @KipOnTheGround  Před rokem +1

      I will eventually get to Regular Routes. They're basically like FBO Queries -- it generates jobs for your between 2 of your FBOs, but they're for human-pilots only and have a specific scheduled date/time the flights need to be actually flown.

    Hello! Do you recommend on air if I only want to play solo?

    • @KipOnTheGround
      @KipOnTheGround  Před rokem +2

      Until recently, I was using OnAir just for myself, but now we're using it for a virtual airline via the Discord server. I mainly like it regardless of the multiplayer features because it's all backed up online and works across multiple sims. I just don't like the idea of losing my progress if I forget to back up my data (which I've lost before with NeoFly). If those things aren't important to you, I'd give NeoFly and Skypark a try as well before deciding. You can always use the 7-day OA trial to see what you think!
