- OnAir Company is a career mode add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3d that I love using. This is the fifth video in an ongoing series where I show you how to build your virtual airline company. In this video, we'll learn about FBOs (Fixed-Based Operators), why you may want to build them, and what Logistic Queries are.

Thanks, Kip. Was waiting for this video before you stopped for your long break.
Good to see you back Kip 🙏🏾
The cargo is for, well, cargo. I don't know if it applies to charter cargo (IE staging at a hub) but with Industries cargo you get charged for that cargo to be stored at the airport unless you put it in an FBO. For example I was charged 1,152c to store 800lbs of cargo at O80 last night.
You don't need 4 points to get Last Minute Jobs. You only need 2 points. You don't need to fill up the previous level, just need a single point.
I'm a bit confused during your intro... FBOs are not required for regular routes, and AI can certainly fly them if you are on a server that allows AI.
Ahh, good call out. I might need to redo this video. This was actually recorded the end of last year, and I finally got back from a long break and dug up the old recordings and published it. Looks like a ton changed about regular routes in June, including opening up to AI: www.onair.company/regular-routes-overhaul-and-opening-to-ai-pilots/
@@KipOnTheGroundm Ah yeah that would explain it. I even checked the date on this video to make sure it wasn't old, but of course I couldn't know you actually made it last year lol
