Quite a stunning flight on A380. The meals on this flight seem fair, but I love the self service bar the most on A380 of QF.
I found the meals to be lacking in portion size but the self service is legendary yes!
So about 3 hours houston to LAX. 9 hour layover in LAX due to that family on the plane. Over 15 hours LAX to Melbourne. Plus wait for another connecting flight to Perth. Then about another 4 hour flight to Perth. So all in all almost a day and a half of traveling 😱 damn!! I can barely do 6 hours of traveling with an 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes lay over! And I love airplanes! Lol
Yes, that's right! Definitely my longest series of consecutive flights.
Was this on Dec 20?? If so I was on this flight in seat 35k in Premium Economy, I however, originated in New York JFK on QF12, sorry for making us late ;)
Hi! Yes we were meant to depart at 22:50 on the 20th out of LAX but didn't end up leaving until 00:56 on the 21st!
I'm sure it was the same flight!

Is it all different types of engines on the a380 goes the same range of 15000km?
The A380 has different engine options, Rolls Royce and Engine Alliance, I'm fairly certain they have the same range

For some reason, I lose my (usually hearty) appetite when I am on a plane, so it takes effort to get me to eat. Is that border-line air sickness?
It could be, although I'm no expert on that topic. All I know is you lose sense of taste when flying ahaha
