Imagine that seat and space being 20%.smaller, then you can imagine how you as a 6ft 2inch full grown adult will feel like after sitting in that space for 10+ hours
Robinson Gitonga It is but who has wider seats . Also Qantas’s seat pitch is 31 inches , many competing airlines have 32 inches. They made a big deal about extra legroom on their Boeing 787’s . If this guy is able to move like he short he must be well short of 6 foot. The 380 has a open feeling though.

I’ve been on pretty much every wide body aircraft multiple times and been on a few narrow body aircraft many times. (A320 as it’s pretty popular for many airlines in the EU)
I go to the rear of the aircraft and chat with the flight attendants, burn off an hour of two and I get to stretch my legs. If you will do this, do it a half hour after meal service when they are done cleaning up and aren't busy.

I have been looking for economy upper deck reviews as I will be flying for Sydney to LAX in September and managed to book a seat on the upper deck. Looks great!! Some people said that is was quite cold and noisy in that part of the plane. Did you find that?
Just to advise that the upper deck economy section is to go as part of a major cabin upgrade of the Qantas A380 fleet starting from mid 2019 and to be completed by the end of 2020.
I went on Qantas A380 from Singapore to Melbourne last week and was really disappointed with it. Legroom was terrible for an A380 (compared to Emirates which I've also been on), also the plane is in dire need of refurbishment, everything seemed very worn and the bathrooms were dirty when I used them.
do not use Qantas website...... try fare compare, cheapoar one travel,you can find there affordable tickets and use begining or midle of week...never weekend.

MEL or SYD or BNE to LAX return is usually around $1200-1500 AUD. On sale it’s regularly under $1000. Sometimes $899.

Why did Qantas equip the a 380 business class with that old seat? Should've gone with the same one as the 330-300
They are to be retrofitted with the same seats as in the A330-300 when the A380 fleet undergoes a major cabin upgrade starting mid-2019.
