14 HOURS ON THE A380 - Emirates Business Class review from Melbourne to Dubai

- Join me as I review the Emirates A380 Business Class on a flight from Melbourne to Dubai. Overall, a very good experience with Emirates. Despite being one of the "older" interiors, I found the seats to be very comfortable and the cabin as a whole to be visually appealing. My next flight, to London, would be on one of the newer A380s, and aside from refreshed upholstery, there wasn't much of a difference in terms of seat. Service was fine, my crew wasn't as friendly as I've had on other Emirates flights but certainly not unpleasant. I found the service to be very slow. It could take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes for a dish to be collected or served, and it wasn't a very busy flight. It wasn't a big deal because we had all the time in the world, but with a late-night departure, I'm sure many were eager to hit the sheets. All in all, a great flight with Emirates - very grateful to have had this experience. Let me know what you think in the comments!

I went on business from Bhx to dxb. Was disappointed unfortunately. No working elecronics in my orignal seat. No menu given. No desert and i bought business to relax but unfortunately i had crying children 2 rows away from me. 😢

I justvdid this trip last week on business. Ensure you only go business class on the A380 NOT the 777. 777 is crap.

@@moviewatcher1239 the seats don't go fully flat. Plus you are next to someone, so if you are by the window and they are extended out, you have to wake them up or climb over them. The A380 has none of those issues.

The thing that struck me about upstairs on the a380 was it wasn’t really any quieter than downstairs, nothing against upstairs it’s just that it’s such a quiet plane! The 14 hours to dubai just ‘flew’ by.

We just flew the same route BC and I was disappointed that I was not able to order a coffee outside of meal times. Even the fancy bar, which was rarely used because passengers were forced to sleep, did not cater to my needs.
I noticed no one was using the bar too. Didn't have any issue with service like you did but crew seemed a bit un-engaged.

I flew emirates from Melbourne airport since it’s my birtnplace and home the whole flight was amazing cabin crew awesome it was Melbourne-Singapore-Dubai-Frankfurt germany😊

I have only been on Qatar business class and have never been on emirates business class.
Such an ungodly hour to arrive at a destination. You would be in limbo for several hours until check in times at about noon at hotels. Unless everyone on this flight is ongoing to connecting flights.
It was a weird hour to land at, I think most would be connecting

EK's J product (soft and hard) really is the crappiest of the premium products out there. The FAs are overworked, disinterested, and sloppy. Done J in all it's premium legs and it just does not compare to other premium products out there. EK's J products are for the cheap people who want to see what life is like in front of the curtain.
