He's got deceptive speed. It doesn't seem like he is running fast but those long strides will leave you in the dust.

AJ just flat out gave up on this play, not when he got stiff armed though it was after he recovered from the stiff arm he let up thinking someone else was making the tackle instead of staying full speed until the whistle blows! He will get chewed out big time for that, not that it matters now anyway, they try and lose out the rest of season for higher draft pick I'm sure, they are dirty like that.

Best run in nfl history imo, he shoved off a cornerback, tossed a line backer completely around him to the floor with one arm, the stiff arms the last linebacker for a touchdown.
Well... there's Tony Dorsett's 99 yard run, which there were ten men on the field, and they were a man down, and yeah Henry stiff-armed them but they were much smaller than them, but idk. That was still one of the best runs I have ever seen.
@@wifehaver6973 Derrick Henry's 99 yarder was way more impressive than Dorsett's. He stiff armed 3 guys and stiff armed that linebacker twice. I've been watching football for over 50 years and have never seen anyone do that before (stiff arming 3 guys on one play).

Best run I've ever seen. Just incredible. If it had been 99 yards untouched it would have still been great, but the fact that he threw off those tacklers like they were nothing made it spectacular, and a highlight we'll be seeing for years to come.
My God. 99 yards fighting the whole time and the presence to not step out of bounds. One of the greatest runs I've ever seen.

This is one of the most impressive 99-yard TD runs simply because he has to stiff-arm 2 defenders while carrying the ball and then hold off a few others.
