Leave the gem compressors on (pumping & lid closed) they will allow the gems to fall in still. Switch off to collect!

Game is stupid satisfying to play. I dont have the expansion yet. Still enjoying the base game. I wish an MMORPG would have such a fun mining system. But i would prefer a more indepth crafting system. Like the future of gaming is so promising.
They need a better axe tool to hit larger spots. Ive been using the vehicle to mine out but you can only do so much at a time. Ended up going too deep once and had to tap W instead of holding W because it was too high and thus too slow at removing material
They need to add an electric generator that powers the electrical logic tubes. That runs off water (base game) and lava (expansion) to "inject" electricity into logic parts.
Watering can for plants. Holds 4 water! I always keep one on the back of my truck in the base game. Curious if you can fill them with 4 lava.... Lmao

You don't need logic on the gem compressors, they work automatically sonthe logic is only there if you DON'T want them compressed. If you take the logic off the thing will just compress automatically. Been enjoying the series!
Is there a conveyor/water pipe store on the volcano island or do u have to travel back to the first island/land to pick those up?
There are two stores on the new island that sells pipes and conveyors.
Given your decently set now. I think it's time to buy those schematics for the heavy-duty drills and harvester.
You can leave the Gem Compressors on, the doors open anytime a gem falls into it.

It just keeps on adding to the weight of the gem, just like how ingots work, he just needs to leave the gem compressors on all the time and turn them off to get the big gem out if he needs it.

@@LunarAntic Yes. Sometimes you might need to add a bit of extra logic if you have a ton of drills feeding in ores, as the smelter will make any incoming ores spew everywhere while it's ejecting the ingot.

I hate the logic system in Hydroneer... It just never works as expected for me and it seems to be so primitive that to do functional things you gotta build out a ton of cables/hooks/switches etc and it just takes up tons of space etc. Rest of the game is a blast tho, I'm hoping the "infinite durability" mod gets updated soon :)
