welcome to volcalidus if you need help.. im about... u can use pans to carry bars about and everything.. you can hold a lot more in pans without a ton of lag now.
hard stone is for construction on buildings. like the tier 1 store and so on
you should have brought a hand sort my friend
corestone is for creating things and used for later on making things like buildings mainly tier 2 and tier 3 store when you unlock them.

For the record theres no point in dgging deep if you are putitng the snow top level it cancels that out..
pick axe is in tier 1 store.
Not sure why you use a valve on the t pipe u dont need that valve.
the anvil accepts and bar except the shard bar. swords and necklace's are the best for making money and u can make a sword or any bit of equipment with gold, iron, cloutium and corestone.

there used to be a safe that fit 6 or 8 bars. also you can smelt bars together. easy lag saver. sort your loot into smelters and just have 1 big pool of gold etc
14:01 You can park the truck on the buy stations and load stuff in the back and buy it that way and you use the new stuff to build booths when you buy the packs from the vendor and the big processor in the volcano
Pickax can be found in tier 1 construction, so pick up tier 1 find a place to drop it and then add the stuff that needs and then you have a workshop for tier 1 items
Core stone is put in crucible pot and it can be made into bars. You will need it to upgrade buildings to get better tools so you can go deeper on the teirs
According to the dev logs they changed it to where the basic pan will no longer lag when it has valuebles in it. I am not sure to what extent but I do plain to abuse it in my setups.
I really want to get back to this game, luckily I get to watch you and learn, and of course Hybridsteel , before i start again 😃
All objects that are in a pan no longer cause lag. (That QOL was included in the free patch that came alongside Volcalidus). Back in the day it would lag like hell if you did that but now they get Physics locked in Pans so you can stock them up as much as you want.
The Devs have even shown a nice comparison of the previous behaviour and the new Physics lock. (Discord News from 16.02.2024)
You use the Heartstone brakes to create shop so you can get pickaxes and better drills
probably already said, but they changed how buckets work, they are generally less laggy.....even back when it wasnt, i had 10 of the large pans, i sorted each bar type and gem type into its own bucket (at the start), with less lag in general from materials in buckets, it makes that strategy less troublesome

The hardstone blocks are those shops that you can build that are the creates with the tiers on them

You can just dump the whole gem pan into the Compresser thing, the game sepparates them
im not to sure about it atleast not pre dlc the other typed gems would jump and not stay inside the same compressor. It used to work with the older version of the compressor.

Can't you put all the gems in the compressor and have each type of gem, like in the original version?
Just put all the little gems together of any type and just compress into their respective type.
