You know, after seeing Let's Game It Out completely break this game apart, seeing someone do a simple gameplay is so calming. Loved the video!

so im not the only one who just watched like 5 hydroneer lets game it out videos, and got recommended this video?
A few tips: You don't need to drop all your ores on top of the table, just drop the pan with them in it, the fps won't drop. You can place a cart ontop of the buying platform and put items inside it, and then buy it, you won't run out of space because they lose collision, and I think the 4 wheeler can do that too with it's inventory. You can shovel just a bit of dirt and replace it under the drill where you can see the tip, it will harvest even if it is floating. You can rotate pressure tanks so the opening faces upwards and it is easier to place shard bars. Ores dropped in a crucible with other ores already melted will get deleted. Each tier won't work if they're digging deeper than their correct height tier, and you can notice by the dirt coloration. The more complex the crafted item is, the more value you will get out of your bars, so a 3 piece item will make more out of the same weight than a 1 piece item. Cloutium or superior intake pipes will damage iron pipes because they give too much pressure, and every piece added to the system linearly decreases pressure by 1%. Drills, conveyors, harvesters and any other mechanical pieces work better with higher pressure but not more than their maximum. Shredding chunks of dirt will earn you more ore, since every chunk gives you at least 1 piece of ore.

I SO want to like this game. But it's so horrifically frustrating that I just can't. But you explain things wonderfully well and humorously.
By the way, the prospecting helmet is used for finding ore veins. Once the cogs start spinning, it means that there is an ore vein in front of you and if you dig towards it and place a drill on it, it will give you more of that ore
Dont place pans next to sorters, just place crucibles for every material, ore will automatically drop into crucibles and you just have to click on the crucibles to make bars and you can later cut them into smaller bars whit the saw for villager requests
Condense every Pipe to just one Intake, then place a couple straight pipes and add the 5 Filters to your water line. Your Filters will break instead of your machines. Adding Intakes doesn't increase your pressure so having so many difderent lines is redundant. I ❤LOVE❤ your playthrough because this is how you should learn the game!
The helmet is end game stuff. Its wheels start spinning if you are looking to a ore deposit while close to it. Can also use drill too. Its best to use drill first and then go down there to search with helmet. These ore deposits are in some plots. Not always but in big plots for sure. That shop where you bought the helmet is more like end-game shop. No problem.

Everything about this video is a great example of how this game needs to explain how things work or where they even are, better.
Interesting to see different methods people come up with. Didn’t take me long to realize I could just leave the buckets in the stream so they were always filled with water. You can just do your prospecting there. Then you only have to bring over the shovels of dirt.

I love this video so much! Your calm demeanor as opposed to the hyper voiceovers with 17 cuts per second is very refreshing. I was going to post a bunch of my tips here, but it looks like Eduardo beat me to it! I'd love it if you could do a 200 days play through, because there's a lot of stuff you missed and even some new DLC. No pressure, of course!

Shard ingot’s weight doesn’t matter. Even the littlest is enough to maximize the pressure to.. Well, maximum pressure. You can combine multiple inputs to increase maximum pressure. No problem.

So refreshing to watch someone play Hydroneer that doesn't blame the game for their every mistake and actually taking ownership of not knowing a certain mechanic, rather than jumping to saying that the game is bugged or the item is broken and playing the blame game, some of the other influencers covering this game can be incredibly frustrating to watch when all they do is blame the game for everything that doesn't work their way.
Kudos to you, we need more influencers like you on this platform :)

26:48 the hat is meant to find rich ore veins, just shiny dirt that gives more of the type of material with dug out. the starter plot doesnt have those though

Lights on the drills mean if its on or not. If you go down, you sure get more and better resources but you need better gear for that dirt too. No pro- oh almost forgot, you can put littlest dirt under it and it will work. One shovel will do.

So heres my tips place the harvester one block below where the dirt falls in itll never clog up that way same thing for the furnace things place them one block lower than yhe conveyer sorter the hat you bought is to be used with a vehicle that identifies where huge concentration of a type of ore is the hats cogs will spin when near one as example if you used the vehicle forgot the name and it detected an iron vein yourll see iron color cloud and the icon of iron which means just about every bit of ore will be iron also if you just want it to be day time you can enter creatuve mode go to the first store grab the hour glass prpess pause on it and there you go daytime all time

If you take the construction hammer and use it on things you nailed down you can move them
U can use drill on concrate when u place dirt under the drill
You can turn on the light on the miner helmet while pressing Q, when u hover over it it says q

I don't know if you know but you get the left over weight in a bar from the drill maker in a furnace to the left of the base of the machine used to make a drill.
