If I was sentenced to terraforming a planet for some prison and those two end choices were my only options I'd just stay and live on the planet. Got an awesome base cranking out tons of heat and energy. Craft myself a TV and some food and a comfy couch.

ive watched planet crafter before so seeing u put ur base in the dried up lake hurt me also im only 5min into the vid so idk if ur gonna move , i mean probably.

@@GamingRogue think you bought the snake oil :) a lot more works under water these days than I think folks realize.
When the game first started, electric, heat, drills, and extractors wouldn’t work under water. With the add ons, things started working under water. Seems the older players always just told everyone not to build in certain places because they’d be under water. They never tried to build under water again, and the devs forgot to limit certain things from working under water.
Try this… start a creative save. Open everything up. It’s an exploratory type save rather than a full blown start to finish save. Set everything up on the lakebed. Everything except flower/grass/tree spreaders, domes, and electric suppliers. These items will start the TI clock, too early.
When you get nearly everything set up, make your way to the top of a high area, toss down 10-12 electric generators, or until the power turns on. The planet will have a quick seizure, sky turns blue, rain starts pelting you in the head… all on about 10-15 seconds. Now you watch the lake fill up over the next 5 minutes. Once the lake is full, head on in to see which items actually work and which don’t. I think you’ll be surprised.
Next, add frogs, bee hives, and fluttergoby’s under water. Oh they fly and hop around like no tomorrow. Good to go. For me, I put the frogs and butterflies near the coast, but the main habitat under water. I put algae generators on top so they can land and sit on the lillypads.
After that, go launch your underwater rockets. They don’t care. They’ll take off and land with no issue as well. The portal works under water as well.
Think my biggest issue, which is why I have to continually restart these reverse games, is getting the plant spreaders to grow the plants before they’re covered with water. The trees and plants will forever stay the same and never die or go away…as well as grass.
If it’s old technology, it probably won’t work under water. If it’s new technology, it’ll most likely work just fine.

No, your releasing pressure so you gain pressure. Not Build pressure, the game even says "release pressure by drilling the ground"

Edit: and secondly I would be very disappointed from the game developers, if they would have made such a grammatical and physical mistake by saying: "Release Pressure by drilling in the ground".
@@fredwillowshire1090 Read closer, you are releasing underground gasses that build up the pressure of the air.
A quick google search give you this:
Atmospheric pressure is caused by the gravitational attraction of the planet on the atmospheric gases above the surface and is a function of the mass of the planet, the radius of the surface, and the amount and composition of the gases and their vertical distribution in the atmosphere.
So you are increasing the pressure by releasing underground gasses, thus "releasing pressure by drilling in the ground" it's no error of the devs.
