The Extraction Rocket. It carries you to the end of the game.
Though if you've been reading the LORE throughout, there's some doubt in my heart that it's a good end. :)
@@maxsalmon4980 There are actually 3 different endings that you can pursue.
@@maxsalmon4980 there are several ways off the planet, but you're right that none of them are "good." Spoilers: in one, you leave in search of the precursor civilization that is probably extinct (they were hunted by humans.) In another, you pay smugglers to sneak you off the planet only to probably be made a slave. In the third, you serve your terraforming sentence and are transferred to another prison pending a review of your sentence, where you'll probably be for the rest of your life.
@@marshallc6215 The latest update, the devs mention they're making the endings a bit more cheerful, lol. I haven't seen them yet so not sure exactly what that means.

I was not excited to see another series of this but...speedrunning all the bs definitely was the right call and I am now excited to see the rest
Seeing this game now compared to the last time i played (when they had just added frogs), it's incredible home much its changed since I've last played it. Although I won't be able to play it for quite some time due to limitations, I can't wait to play it again, and it feels great to see more people covering such a fun and unique game.
You are missing a big thing with the old underground temple thingy, not sure if it still exists
The final objective is the ending, definitely not another 50 hours of grinding lol
I didn't create a new game for 1.0 as I already had my whole automation thing going from some time ago, so I enjoyed seeing a couple of things I missed. Also, you ended the video about where I am now (almost finished), so I wasn't spoiled, hahah

Missed so much, there's all the Warden stuff, and the lore/story etc, there's lots of other 'rare' butterflies and frogs etc you can only get by doing those and finding in those areas too.... There's a reason behind everything that's happened etc, and you also have to complete something to actually escape, and there are actually kinda 3 endings :)
After almost 100 hours in Planet Crafter, I can confirm that yes... it will take over you life.
So happy to see this game back on the channel definitely one of my favorite games you've played

The Jetpack isn't unlocked from blueprint microchips; just reach Blue Sky and craft the Advanced Crafting Station.
3:40 That's the rift canyon crash from early access. The Jetpack won't help you if you don't turn it on, or there is a safe route down had you gone to your left.
5:05 Fortunately you were at full health, so you weren't in mortal danger.

8:30 It's not really slowing down, it's just suddenly displaying three fewer significant figures. (Ideally the game would always show you a consistent number of significant figures, so the effect wouldn't be so jarring.)
9:00 You were supposed to visit those coordinates; eventually this unlocks one of the possible endings.

12:35 Sadly as you find out at 19:20 that only opens a door to more loot (but it's excellent loot).
20:20 Food growers, outdoor farms and algae generators automatically supply. Other production machines (e.g. Beehives) you have to manually set to supply. (There's a Supply All button that makes thsi convenient.)

great rundown video of the game. binged the original series you done a few times over so having this vid to round up and point out its now 1.0 and have even more to offer is great. and bring attention to the game again. its a neat one. with interesting story bits. even tho as a story/lore fanatic i rather enjoy the whole watch number go big this game does. and how it effects the areas around the player and unlocking more and more things to do and explore. now to re-binge the EA videos and then be super confused when some things are changed from back then to now ingame xD

Watching Kibs do genetic engineering brings to mind so veryvery....very many Ian Malcom quotes from the Jurassic Park films.
I had a few issues with the game. The map feels really slap dash in so many places like they didn't care enough when making it. There also seems to be long stretches with nothing to do as you wait for numbers to climb. Other than that it is a damn fine game. Kind of amazing how the planet changes as you go.

I stopped playing right before they added the volcano update...I had a hell of a base and was getting ready to automate biomatter things but got hung up on something and gave up, partially becasue i had been burnt out

I’ve been playing this game recently and I feel like he’s unlocking things insanely fast compared to me. He’s getting them at lower levels, does that have to do with the world settings?
whenever I launch a rocket for heat or preassure, the launch pad gets hit by asteroids, if I launch another rocket it falls over and stays/skipps on the ground
In 1.0 only super alloy will disappear over time. All other rare elements from meteors will stay until you pick it up or shut down the game.
