Cities Skylines 2 gameplay today buidling a huge expansion in an attempt to rapidly increase the city's population! Since we maxed out how much money we can have, we have infinite money to expand the city as much as possible (ie - until the game breaks).

I love how snug those medium density buildings fit under the bridge
I wonder if it's worthwhile to raise the highway to be as high as the bridge, and have the entire area below it filled with medium density homes
Always a fan of universities/colleges with a Greek row, tons of student housing and other dedicated areas. Feels a lot more like real life

@@Stav_Hadjin larger colleges/universities, there is typically one or two streets which are primarily populated by fraternities and sororities aka Frat row.
Getting rid of traffic lights is only going to improve traffic with not a lot of left turn conflicts. You probably need the light to stay at that one intersection.

Im trying to decide if Cities Skylines is worth the 50 dollar price tag. I've only played the base game of the first one, no DLC. Im really interested though. ALso, keep up the great work.

Colossal Order really left the money variable in a 32-bit signed integer. They could easily increase the int size and let people gather a trillion dollars.

I think, now you have The maximum amont of money, you should higher The taxes so The people remember who is their mayor and who’s The boss ! (All The money you make after 2 billions directly goes to your Bahamas bank account)
it'd be cool if, when you finish the city, start a 2nd version and try the developer mode. You have so much more freedom. Id love to see what you could do to a section of your downtown with it.

There will always be a cap for the limit on the variable with the value inside, it looks like they're using a "signed long", an integer variable using 32 bits (4 Bytes) ranging from −2'147'483'648 to +2'147'483'647, and they decided to cap the number to 2'000'000'000 since is more human friendly
I'd love a new series of 'perfect city' with cs2 like you did in cs1. I hope you'd do that after this one🙏

Seems like a bit of lazy/early programming, it probably has to do with the max value of 32 bit being 2,147 billion, which seems even weirder to people so therefore capping it at 2 billion, but I mean at this point it seems lazy, as there are 16 bit games that can count to quadrillions with some shenanigans behind the scenes
No need for 2billion+ anyways, also its the 32bit integer limit

Not naming worker sub unit 7 "South Beach" was a missed opportunity.
Instead of sidewalks to those smallnislands, I would of used pedestrian roads if only sonthst one would be able to zone. Also, the extra width looks so much better. At least to me.

okey dude I am happy to watch this series but, Do you must make the subway lines loop. I live in a metropol that has not loop subway lines and it is more efficient, and easier to connect the city. I dont know the game mechanism but I think you should try it.

The money in CS2 is just broken entirely since every time you level up your city it gives you money, and the income amount and cost of things is just massively too high.
