đ About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steveâs side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70âs, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesnât love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Donât forget to subscribe and hit the đ for more videos!

Now you know why this equipment stays in the family for generations,
It's just too heavy to move more than once.
Almost as much fun as watching them move the marble slab from the basement years ago
That gave me so much anxiety đ
Yes so, SOOO much anxiety watching that team đ©
Hoping it wouldn't brake or they drop it !
Lol. I was thinking the same thing
Oh yes i was thinking about that. Imagine them trying to get all that downstairs
I almost cried when I saw steves face he was like a kid at Christmas because when he was working in the basement he worked so hard and did without to make sure the bills got paid and your mom with 2jobs
I remember when you were moving your first enrober into the basement! Look how far you've all come! I miss the cosy, claustrophobic days in the basement. Max's first days of work, getting your first "new" equipment... The first baby steps into the bigger, more streamlined business you've grown! I'm happy for you, but it's definitely a different environment and back when I was watching those early days, my life was totally different! That's probably why I feel a strange nostalgia even though I have nothing to do with your business. đ
Me too
I feel like theyâre family after so long
â@@glorial1569 As someone who works with Hercules Candy and knows the family.
I can tell you that you are all family to them too â€

"rachet straps" would help secure the machine to the "mover dolly" so it can make it up the ramp no problem
Does that gentleman who slipped on the Dolly know about our Hulk-Smash-Terry's wall mishap?!đ Things like that just happen around there!â€ïž
Moving the equipment with a horse trailer is the most Wyoming thing. Lol! From a Colorado neighbor to the south.
I thought thatâs what it was !
Well those guys won't need to work out for a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see the new stuff working. For that sharp switch cover maybe some plastic tubing placed over the edge would help. Good luck withnit all
You need to fill in the death trap gap at the bottom of the ramp.
Gettin' mighty fancy there Hercules Candies! Looking forward to your adventures with new equipment.
The appropriate quote from Jaws here is âWeâre gonna need a bigger boat.â You all are filling that place to the pushing point of needing an even bigger place soon!
Wow, a taffy maker and now a batch roller. This is exciting. If you are not careful, you will out grow this space. đđđ
There's so much new "to Hercules" equipment to learn. But it looks like all of it will be very useful
CRAIG! đ that ending, poor Scott
I love watching your work stations come together.
Can't wait to see it all working together.
Looks like they are going to need a bigger shop soonđ
YOU WENT FROM A SMALL BASEMENT TO A STORE NOW TO A FACTORY AT THIS POINT,, HA HA HA
I'm having flashbacks to the marble table coming out of the basement đź
Except this time we hired enough muscle and people who know how to move stuff đ
â@@HerculesCandy awww yeah ! đȘđœđ„
Boa noite
â@@thatgirlinokc3975oh my goodness! đ± Wasn't that something!? I can imagine we were all on the edge of our seats. I miss that marble table. đ
@@Latoya- It's in the front of the shop. I think the brittles sit on it now. It does hold a special place in my memory
I never thought Iâd say this, but I think youâre outgrowing that building.
nice to see that it is being modernized and that 2nd hand equipment is being used. I can't wait to see them in action. amazingly beautiful .
If its not obnoxiously heavy, it isnt old enough equipment. Looking forward to seeing it all in use
They don't build stuff like they used to!
@@HerculesCandy Is it gen-yoo-ine cast iron?
â@@HerculesCandy The older equipment still works.
Looking forward to seeing the new equipment in use. I hope he's okay!
Some Heavy Equipment ....... can't wait to see this all in action.
ohh boy Hercules got new toys , you know what that means . more new idea's and new candy :) but man them guys where strong . good work guys
So thereâs candy stamps, a batch roller, a melter, wow! I worry about moving all this stuff when you move to a bigger place
That was fun to watch, Craig. Looking forward to your next vidya.
Can't wait to see how you make the candy on your new candy maker. Hope everyone at Hercules candy are having a wonderful summer so far. Love qll of your videos so fun to watch. Have a wonderful weekend. âźïžđđđđ«đŹ
When they moved there it seems theyr had all the space they would ever need. Now its starting to look as cramp as the basement shop was.
Always a blessing to see the new stuff come in. But i do love the old fashioned machines that are still working and being used. Good job guys! Craig, nice lookin cut ya got there. Good people. â€
Oh man... All the new equipment is def gonna make things easier and faster. Can't wait to see them in use.
I pick things up and put them down đ
14:22 That looks like the cover for a slightly-old-school light switch (the kind you flick rather than push). The local home center should have a plastic type that shouldn't slice up people.
Or cover the edge, or grind it smooth.
Omg I love coopers apron!!! Y'all have the funnest aprons!!
Excited to see the new equipment.
And reminded that I need to work out đ
You all need a bigger facility! Get a little bigger and you can get that taffy machine and more counter space. And better storage.
Business is growing. Congratulations. Love watching the new flavor. Wish I had the money to order something.đą
Best of luck with the new equipment!! May it help out with production & making your yummy products!!â€
Can't wait to see these working!!! VIDEO..VIDEO...VIDEO! lol
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT ALL UP ,AND RUNNING
If you are going to move a lot of equipment like this I recommend you buy an engine hoist. The kind that disassembles to part it in a corner.
I absolutely know this pain⊠I have two pieces of equipment that weigh well over 250 pounds eachâŠ
One is an anvil at 350 pounds, and the other is a patty machine at 300 pounds⊠they were heavy, and I got no help moving them, not for lack of trying.
i think it's a given that people get hurt carrying the equipment, it's not balanced and has no good handholds most of the time. Some good gloves and steel toed boots are a must but it's so dangerous compared to gym lifting. I'm looking forward to seeing it in use though, anything to make the work go smoother and skip some of the extra hard labour.
Cardboard cuts are 5 times more painful than a paper cut. Sliced diagonally across my palm with a cardboard folder. The worst part of it is my job required using a hand stamp hundreds of times a day. Every stamp broke it open again. It took ages to heal.
Hi Debbie from Calgary Canada. I love watching your videos. We love our sweets and candy believe it or not gets us through tough times when weâre stressed or sad. Thank you for sharing your family business with us to see. Waiting to win the lotto so we can order from you, lol. Take care
Awesome! Can't wait to see the new automation equipment setup and in use!
Thatâs a lot of equipment. Canât wait to see you use them
Thank God for big strong menđ
Why haven't you made a plywood ramp yet to get over asphalt and door frame?
that "kitchen" wher all the magic happens is so crowded now compared to the first week when you guys moved in, at this rate you will soon need to find another premises or build an extension or something, or maybe you are nostalgic and want the crowded feeling like the old place, awesome to see those machines still being used and not getting tossed at the dump! nice work lads
They looked at bigger properties last year because they knew this was going to happen. They couldn't find a place that was the right fit for them.
You guys are a God sent. Keep up the great work. Prayers and love to allâ€ïžđđ»đȘđ»đŻđ
Did we ever get the taffy machine figured out? đ
I canât wait to see this new equipment in action. So much going on in the shop. Now, how many men does it take to move candy making machines??? LOL!!! Hope the one guy is okay.
next time ratchet strap them to the dolly it will prevent them from slipping off!
Can't wait to see this in action.
What a great idea. Never thought to hire guys from my local gym!
Thatâs certainly going to main stream the hard candy making! How cool!! Canât wait to see it working and producing!!!
How cool is this? My Friday night entertainment. Love it!
Y'all need to call Greg from Lofty Pursuits in Florida he knows about all the candy equipment and how it's works....i think he repairs those things too...
Youâre gonna need a bigger shop!
Dang !! đđ«đŹđ«đ Free candy.. for life... goes to the movers.
Iâm so proud of you guys for that
Well, as Sonic the Hedgehog would say in the Dorkly Bits shorts. "Huh...neat"
Oh my gosh, these guys remind me of the three stooges. LOL
hehehe Hercules Gym shirt...someone give him a Hercules Candy T Shirt for his hard work
Coincidentally that's the name of the gym where Craig and Cara work out and lift weights. No relation to the Andrianos family
@@thatgirlinokc3975 amazing! it's fate
We appreciate your effort and hard work. God bless you all no matter what.
Gloves are a good thing when moving heavy stuff. âïž đ€ đââïž
This is why we donât skip leg day friends!
Thanks for sharing.
Ya'll are going to need a bigger building soon đ
Can i suggest that you install castors on a bunch of these machinesâŠ
Yâall didnât learn your lesson from trying to haul in that candy puller.
Whatever happened to that machine?
Do we know why candy making machines are so back breakingly heavy? Candlemakers in the 1800's must have been Goliaths!
Technology wasnât advanced enough yet. And thank goodness! Because the stuff made during that time lasts forever if taken care of.
Cast Iron
Aaaand THIS is why I hire stuff done, by people with insurance and experience.....
đđđNew toys!!!! Yaaaay!!!!
Watching from Montana now
Just here for the âi think we have this bass ackwardsâ
Poor Scott đ
Those helpers was very strong u can talk they really worked out a lot in the gym hope Did they get a sample of any of your really good candy u make they might not eat much but I bet they might have a girl friend who would đâ€ïžâ€ïž
How many "muscle" heads does it take to lift a candy machine? There's got to be a thousand fun answers to make this into a joke. I got one. 5 to put it on a dolly and one to push it off. Ha!! LOL!
Fruit and Nut Brittle and/or bark!
A milk chocolate bark, would taste like a Chunky bar
Moms get it done.
Was the previous moving not dangerous enough?
Do we get to see the finish job installation of new equipment
Maybe couldve rented pallette jack, and small forklift
Love the UConn shirt
Boa noite hércules 6:03 aquele senlhor que escorregou do Dolly
Y'all might want to get some furniture dollies with bigger wheels made of rubber.
Iâm new to the Hercules party-whatâs the connection to UConn? Go Huskies-especially in that area of NY đ
Our daughter, Leah, got a full ride there, so we think they're kind of great đ
Plus the men's team won the national championship.
I wish we had some background. What is this stuff and where did it come from?? Also, itâs pretty crowded in the shop. Yâall are going to outgrow this place before long.
This was like the blind leading the blind. It was painful just to watch the confusion. This looks like a gas explosion waiting to happen! đ±
Please, don't ever start Hercules Moving, this was painful to watch. Would have loved an explanation of each machine but maybe that'll be in future videos.
Makin me nervous!
I was just thinking about the pulling machine (I have no idea if thatâs what itâs called) that yâall bought a few years ago. But then the panini cam and the machine was forgotten about
I hope you get a working demo before they leave.
Appliance dolly?
Wow! This is gonna be a learning moment for everyone. Be sure to fix that other machine before someone cuts themselves really bad.
Oh poor Scott! GRAIG YOU.....!!!!! đđđđ
Hercules Candy development:
Step 1 - Move out of basement to new building due to lack of space.
Step 2 - Immediately outgrow it.
The 'sharp edge' machine was a candy cutter I think ? That should probably speed up things a lot.
Sure could have used that better ramp today ha ha...
I have never seen so many people move things so damn stupid in my whole entire life with all the men that are there and somebody get cut !! Wow
Hope I'm wrong, but that sure looks like a livestock trailer
Yall need a big Building
They have looked, I'm sure they will look again soon.
Another Mickey Mouse moving job by Hercules Candy!
