This was an action packed thrill ride from beginning to end. Also I've recently become more aware of what I say to trans people in the way of compliments. There does seem to be a very fine line between affirming one's identity and fetishistic compliments that are half "yaaaas queen" and half "but yes I am also the queen. the queen of acceptance and love. I am this sad pathetic person's lifeline and they count on me for validation in their existence. Wow, me." I find a good rule of thumb is following the lead of the person you want to say something to when they address it or bring it up, but for the most part, sticking to the context of their content. Like you can call someone beautiful, but you don't have to make everything about whatever it is that makes them different. Especially when that person didn't even bring it up. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm by no means an expert.
