- Hi guys, following an increase in emails about this I thought it best to make a channel wide announcement that anything to do with Telegram is a scam. So please stay vigilant!

The problem is distinguishing between scammers and legitimate political, religious, marketing/sales, etc. calls. This is not an easy problem to fix...caveat emptor!

CZcams sure is fast demonitizing your videos for 2 seconds of fair use music... often within seconds. Helping you deal with scammers; you'll never hear from them. CZcams - you ARE complicit.
It often feels like YT is on the side of scammers more than it's on the side of the creators and audience.

@@EnglishStrippedBareSame here. Since late last year, there has been A.I.-generated news ads involving Swedish celebrities like Dolph Lundgren, about them being "arrested" or a sensational reveal. People on Reddit mentions that they have reported the fake ads. CZcams responded with that the ads are not damaging enough to be removed.
Very simple. If they are asking for money, for any reason, it is a scam.

Once you have seen one of these scams you will recognise them easily. I block them and report them whenever I see them, it's the only thing we can do. But as someone else said, how easy it is that YT can demonetise a creator for a few seconds of content and remove comments from people but can't control the bots.

Yeah, I got the scam e-mail. I erased it; persistent buggers sent me a second one! Not to worry, no problems.
I get those now and again and have replied "f*** off you scammers!" CZcams told me off for "abuse" 🤷♂

The bots aren't out there scamming people. It's very much real people out there scamming people. It's just that they are using bots to make the posts. But they have already analyzed the type of YT channel so they can offer the correct type of fake prizes to trick viewers with.
That's why people can "win" a guitar on this channel. Some other offers on other channels.
This has existed for a very long time. It's trivial to recognize the scam posts. And despite being trivial - YT still allows them. Either by not caring. Or maybe someone getting kickbacks from the scams. But YT is definitely having a huge responsibility for these scams continuing for so very long time.
I saw a scam similar to this a couple years ago when I got a message from someone posing as the owner of a you tube channel wanting me to contact them personally. I figured it was a scam because why would anyone with hundreds of thousands of subscribers send me a personal message? They wouldn't.

It also happens to be 70 years ago today that Bill Haley and his Comets finished a session at the Pythian Temple in New York City by recording "(We're Gonna) Rock Around the Clock." Most of the session was spent recording the intended A-side, "Thirteen Women (And Only One Man in Town)."
You're not the only CZcams channel that's being infiltrated by scammers; I've received similar invitations from Professor of Rock and The History Guy. Always look for the check mark!

This is so heartbreaking. I see this everywhere. This happened to me ,and someone saying I won a special prize, and another scammer trying to get personal information. Fil warned me yrs ago that he doesn't reply or have anything to do with these scammers. It is so infuriating. Good peoples intentions are misconstrued or abused .Trust is gone. Be careful, folks. Bots are everywhere.

I've seen this scam on several different music related sites. So disappointing that you can't escape the on-line scum...they are just everywhere. Thankfully, Fil, you and the others that I like would never try to pull such a dastardly scam on their fans, and these are obvious not you good guys! We must all be ever vigilant against this, and keep getting the word out.
It really is everywhere. I've gotten comments from them on history, science, and astronomy channels as well. They really are trying to cast as big a net as possible in the hopes of catching a few gullible people.

I would think that Google/Youtoob in it's infinite wisdom would be able to kill these things off by now, but I guess they aren't interested in the safety of their users, just how much they can make from the ads.🙄 It is what it is I guess...
