Thanks for giving Love is only a feeling the video it deserved. 20 years on and I’m still fighting tears during the cliff top outro solo! The vulnerability in your voice always matches the lyrics perfectly in these type of songs.

Love Is Only a Feeling is magnificent, as is the promo video. Sentimental and nostalgic emotions for me. It takes me back to my late 20s when it was released but the outro mandolin is also reminiscent of tracks like Chiquitita (and other holiday-flavoured pop) from my childhood.
If people knew how many times I've played "Love is only a feeling," I dont know if they'd laugh or cry!
I love where your voice is at, it’s clearly your voice still but has become more warm and full over the years, I feel like you’ve got more control, and your vibrato is a lovely thing to hear. It’s a perfect balance of growth, to me anyway.

I was getting vertigo , and very anxious the first time I saw the " Love is only a feeling " exceptional video. The way that Justin struts up over that high edge , yet making that guitar wail with expertise is MAGIC ! Glad this comment is on a video with Justin talking about it.

Ive got Permission to land on cd in my attic had it since release. I went to a charity shop a few weeks ago and saw it for 10p. Bought it and had it on replay since lol so many amazing songs on it. Growing on me is one of my favourite songs of yours. So glad i saw you guys live in Bristol a few years ago.

Thanks for confirming The Blue Mountains video shoot. I couldn't have been anywhere else. It is west of Sydney, where early British settlers tried to literally carve out a road and towns to expand the early colony of Sydney. A special place for a special song x

These days they would probably not only use a drone but CGI too, with you all in front of a green screen. So pleased you survived the filming to Ride Again. Justin, i went to the look out where the music video was filmed - i stumbled accross it and i couldnt believe the feeling i had, out there in the mountains with such a godly view and i instantly thought of the song - fantastic memories even 20 years on! Godly band and location 😊
If your spaceship guy is the son of John Friedlander of Doctor Who fame, then his dad is also responsible for Davros, creator of the Daleks! Among other villains and monsters. Quite a legacy. "Permission to Land" as a title does bring to mind a spaceship or plane, or something. Maybe a boat.

The filming location of this beautiful escarpment, and surrounding Grose Valley, was badly burnt out during the devastating bushfires of 2019-2020. I live an hour from where you filmed. The Aussie bush is hardy but this area hasn’t recovered yet, it will take many years. The area’s wildlife perished and koalas are now endangered.
I absolutely loved this video and have hiked around the Grose valley and cliffs over the years

3:36 I had this exact same experience as a kid! Me and my brother at a very young age had a tape recorder and would make our own radio shows in the 2000's. (Almost always cut short by being called for dinner)

A missive for comments day. I too am a fan of Morrissey's musical oeuvre. I discovered The Smiths and Morrissey's solo work fairly late, around the age of 30 a few years ago. I have since been in awe of Moz's beautiful lyrical ability and indeed his always pleasing vocal performances. I would say my favourite Morrissey piece is Speedway. What a song.

K9 was actually (*pushes up glasses) introduced in the 1977 Doctor Who story The Invisible Enemy, and remained on the show until Warrior's Gate in 1981. Had a pilot for a potential spin off series, K9 and Company, then briefly appeared in the 20th anniversary special, The Five Doctors in 1983 and he is a very good boy.
Justin, a Beato type of idea: you could play the B altered scale (jazz scale) over that B7(or B13) ending in a Em7 then Em9(maj7) ,which is the James Bond chord in the intro, lol.

My mates and I were in Australia in 2003 and decided to do a trip to the Blue Mountains. It was quite a drive from Sydney and we just decided to stop at a random location, and it turned out to be the exact spot of the video

They're back after a 7 year hiatus and I'd like to see you shine some light on the great music those guys are making 10 years after the demise of their old band.
Big yes for this, No Devotion are BRILLIANT and better than Lostprophets. It's a real shame what happened to that band but the rest of those guys are super talented and deserve all the love in the world.

I always associate you when I see a white Les Paul custom, (I may of had a cheap knock off at the time). I'd love to see a gear video, or even a video on the story behind the white Les Paul.
