Mate that was the coolest thing that has happened all week , Had the lock for a year but problem was i couldn't open it but it was to good to throw away . Never expected this to work . Great instructions easy for a KIWI to understand and follow , MAGIC ...

Didn't had a feeler gauge but used instead a small led light and was able to spot the small ball on each digit wheel, - and it worked excellent !

I tried the feeling for resistance method and got nowhere but your trick with the feeler gauge worked for me. 👌

Thanks, did it with the edge of a post-it, works like a charm (on a 145/40 in fact, but they are made the same way)

Yes! this methode works better 4 me! instead of pulling and moving each wheel. Thank you! ps, had no can and used a near empty iron mayonaise tube, guess toothpaste tube will work as well?

It works for Abus 165/40, but if its stuck in programming mode (lock open, but NOT programmable)then use this method in reverse dicection -2,5

The Edge of a small piece of paper (e.g. post-it or something else) does also work as a feeler gauge. But i have to add 3 digits instead of 2.5. Works on both 165/40 and 145/40.

Jag provade att lista ut kombinationen på vanligt sätt med ett sånt här lås, men alla false gates i kombination med att jag inte kan gjorde det svårt. Den här metoden däremot var skrattretande enkel! Jag hade en colaburk bredvid mig och en kniv i fickan, så inom nån minut var låset öppet!
