It's funny how BNHA/My Hero Academia actually had an in universe discussion about revealing costumes. Midnight releases sleeping gas from her skin, and points out that her costume is designed with that in mind, so whether it is deemed 'sexy' or not is completely secondary to its practicality. Yaoyorozu creates objects from her fat and they come out of her skin, so the split in her costume is practical.
Regardless of how you feel about MHA this is something they did right
That's just the writer making reasons for fanservice. Not a big deal any decent writer tends to write in things relevant and it's a relevant topic as everyone picks their costumes in MHA.

The thing with the outrage about things like changing Momo's costume is not that a bit of "sexy skin" got lost, but that it's obviously a real life related decision that is reflected in the fictional universe which always breaks the fourth wall. Escapism does not work this way.
Yep, she needs that bare skin area to assemble objects out of her lipids via her skin, and the navel is a large flat area that would certainly make it much easier, its also faster since she can rapidly make something from there and grab it like a radio or or a bandage or something rather than having to reach down to grab it from her legs which are not a flat surface. I think she created an entire polearm weapon from her chest in one battle or something, Momo is a badass who thinks more of utility as a hero with looks coming second, and not to mention at the USJ when she had to make that insulation mat to protect herself and Jiro from Kaminari's indiscriminate shock at the villains, I recall that Momo's costume ripped apart at the back since her skin was covered there. She kinda blasted the mat out in like a second with significant force and told Kaminari to let out that discharge. Like I said, she's badass XD

The pick where Henry failed is done in a way your eyes are naturally drawn. Lime green on yellow is not very contrasting so your eyes don't fallow, while red on white is very contrasting drawing your eyes to it.
This is why Stop signs are Red and white as well as other hazard signs. Yellow and black is the most contrasting colour set but is harder to read which is why it is mainly used as markings like yellow lines on black roads.

My Hero Academia specified that Momo needed as much skin possible shown so her quirk is able to manifest efficiently. Her quirk to put it bluntly is turning skin tumors into objects/things. So showing skin would actually make sense especially in that area.

The large amount of exposed skin is because whatever she is making needs to be extruded from her skin and thus more exposed skin means more locations she can extrude from.

If I remember correctly; Momo's ability is Creation, but her skin needs to be exposed for her to create anything. A zipper could be the difference between life and death in that situation.
Not a difference of life and dead, but rather a difference on being fully naked (torn clothes) or exposing as much skin as "posible". The bigger the object she creates, the more surface it'll need of her skin. There is even a couple of "scenes" on the show where she had to open up her top so she could make a ton of stuff at once, or make something really wide.

What I find funny, is that their is actually one scene where you briefly see All Might's backside, and then you have Mirio's entire introduction, where because of his quirk, his clothes fall off him, and his entire naked body (except his privates) are visible, and yet you don't see any oversensitive girls complaining then.

I don't really understand Japanese mythos (who does though, really), but the tanuki ball thing is canon. There was was a pretty good Studio Ghibli movie called Pom Poko about a bunch of tanuki displaced by the modern world, and they incorporated scrot-shifting pretty heavily into it. The tanuki use their scrots to attack their enemies, they have picnics on them, and they morph them into all manner of practical tools and fanciful illusions.

you know, ive been a long time watcher of MXR plays and stuff, and even if they dont read this i'm glad to see him doing well. Ive watched so many of his skyrim stuff and to see hes a humble down to earth dude who is enjoying life and doing well for himself and Jeanie and them are still together honestly gives me hope for relationships and people in general. These guys have good character development and I'm glad they are where they are, they deserve it. I hope CZcams stops screwing their videos and they continue to do well. I still go back and watch those old videos sometimes.

Most of the OP fans doesnt even want OP to finish its story in the next 5 years. Most of the fans doesnt care about finishing the show, they are just there for the journey.
It's also great that they pace it because all the important parts of the anime feel more impactful. You feel attached to these characters as though you were on this long journey with them.

The issue with comics: in the western world they're treated as a medium for children, so the comics industry built a habit of restarting and recycling their successful intellectual properties and storylines every generation or so as it saved on the hassle of creating new franchises and stories all the time- under the assumption it would allow new kids to get involved in them more easily and old readers wouldn't care as they would grow up and stop reading anyhow. Contrasted against Japan, where instead of only handing down popular characters year in and year out artists actually come up with their own characters and contained storylines.
also the fact that anytime they think comics arent selling well they reboot that character to try and get more sales

That’s not really the case with Marvel as they’ve never had a hard reset like DC have.
well manga characters are still owned by the artists who draw them and are licensed by the printing companies and tv adaptation companies. when you work for marvel/DC your contract states "Creation of new characters and books are possible but artist/writer secedes all intellectual and property right to the employing parent companies in question. it was why many left the 2 giants in the 90's to form image comics, each artist/writer retained creative rights over their characters and many got partial ownership stock in image as additional payment packages.
An old dark fantasy soap opera(Vampires, werewolves, etc) named Dark Shadows had 1225 episodes, I remember watching it in the early days of the Sci-Fi channel

The Pirate joke has more to do with the fact the Funimation have been altering the dubbed dialogue to fall more inline with Hollywood's progressiveness and not necessarily with the intentions of the original creator. This includes watching a Funimation bluray with Japanese audio and "their" subtitles. Hence people (a) sailing the high seas or (b) trying to import blu rays from Japan.
I thought they stopped that after the whole 4kids one piece thing.
@Bob Builder Interspecies reviewers was canned in Japan mate. Yes, Funimation did air it and decided it was too riske so they backed off, but the network carrying the animation itself took the show off the air.

I don't wanna be that "Actually" guy, but here it is. The reason Marvel and DC have more than one story arcs, and/or origins, is because from time to time, when their sales were in a slump, they would let a new writer take over. For whatever reason, that writer's story arc gets to a point that is either unpopular with the readers, unpopular with the creators, or both. So, rather than just saying that, the companies use the (imo lazy) excuse of the story arcs happening in different dimensions.

@miner johnny1211 In some cases yes. Most, they were hoping to breathe new life into their comics as a whole. Good example though it's a movie and not comics is Xmen: Wolverine Origins. Ryan Reynolds did his job well, but Dead Pool wasn't the DP we all knew and love. They fixed that by making him the write way in the 2 DP movies. At the end of the second DP movie, they allude to their fuckery when Ryan....I mean DP.....goes back in time and kills the crappy DP.

Haha. There's actually a couple like that. They did a minidocumentary on them a few years back. Both intersex. The "girl" was a boy who was born with ambiguous genitalia and was given a vagina near birth. The "boy" had a similar story.
Lovely couple and I think most people who saw the doc felt that their unique sexuality was something they could have a very nice bond over.
