    Hey man I LOVE the car! I remember seeing this car when Dave had it gunning for 9’s on the hx40 lol. Beautiful dsm. I’m just up the road in Cheyenne with a fresh 6266 build on mine. I’d love to catch you at Bandimere at a testntune later this summer if possible! Good luck with the Magnus piece. The issue your trying to remedy is the reason I’ll NEVER go twin/triple. I heard back in the day Shep was running single plate 2900/3200 set ups for a reason I’m sure. I’ve just heard twins are a pain to launch, and their axle snapping kings at the track lol, but I know your cars fully built and good to go, but when my Jacks blows up and I go PPG I’m still gonna run an evo 8 style ceramic hub south bend for that very reason. Anyways tho I think you’ve got a pretty rad dsm man and I’m loving the content! Thank You!

      Hey man. Yeah Dave has done some badass things with the car and now he has passed the torch onto me., lol. For big power its hard not to go twin/triple. The clutch slipping/launching with these cars takes some practice. In my black 1g i was running a single disc and was able to do 1.5's all day. Just takes some getting use to. Thanks for watching man and glad you are enjoying the content.

    Love the dsm. I’m curious on this clutch system. Do you have any dimensions and feedback on the unit? I’m curious on adapting this to drag bikes.

      Not sure how good it would work on a bike. I actually just switched up my slipper valve to a different one.

      @@N3ZFAB what valve do run now? I’m just testing the waters to see what happens. Been looking into a budget build on one of my bikes and a lot of modified clutches are $1600 to over $2k so I figured see what can be done with just the stock clutch and modifications.

    Did everything work as expected? I was debating getting this. Did you bleed it properly? When you don’t clutch 1-2,2-3,3-4 shifts what do you do for rev limiter? Or flat foot the shifts?

    • @N3ZFAB
      @N3ZFAB  Před rokem

      Once I wired it up it works great. Still got to get it dialed this race season (2023) I was just quick lifting off the throttle between shifts. But I have a strain gauge now so we should see huge improvements!

      How did you wire it can you make a follow up video on that?

  • @Schmitty_Luv2
    @Schmitty_Luv2 Před 5 měsíci +1

    How about when the times comes to bleed the air out of the system, any videos or explanations of how difficult that is? Is there ever a time where you can notice when you get air pockets trapped in the clutch hydraulic lines? Also, how will you know if the master/slavecylinder goes bad in the middle of a launch wouldn’t it ruin the clutch itself? Was thinking about ordering one but I don’t know all of the additional variables that come along with having one of those slipper solenoid units… was looking for some help, Can you shed some light on that? 🥸

  • @bowtiejake
    @bowtiejake Před rokem +1

    Do you think you could wire this up to a 2 step msd box so it only activates when the 2 step is on at the line read to launch the car?

    • @N3ZFAB
      @N3ZFAB  Před rokem +1

      Yeah I'm sure it could work that way. It would just have to be a "switched " power or ground.

    • @bowtiejake
      @bowtiejake Před rokem +1

      @N3ZFAB yeah my 2 step is ran off a switched ground

    • @N3ZFAB
      @N3ZFAB  Před rokem

      Yeah what ever you have wired up to deactivate your 2 step you could have it deactivate the slipper. It is still gonna cause it to slip a little.

    • @bowtiejake
      @bowtiejake Před rokem +1

      @N3ZFAB yeah I have the 2 step off the negative switch off my ebrake since. I used my ebrake to hold the car at the line to some what pre load the suspension the best I can and when the light goes green I push my ebrake down to deactivate the 2 step launching the vehicle

  • @sk8tejohn
    @sk8tejohn Před rokem +1

    you don’t see the a drastically change in slippage bc the delay is happening at the slave cylinder and not at the clutch pedal !

    • @N3ZFAB
      @N3ZFAB  Před rokem +3

      Hey man thankl for watching the video. I didnt have it wired up yet when I was initially testing it. Once you get power to the solenoid it makes a huge difference.

    How long did it take you to bleed ot because im having issues with mine and it doesnt seem like its getting all of the air bubbles out and my clutch does not want to push the pressure plate in to disengage my twin disc

    • @N3ZFAB
      @N3ZFAB  Před 10 měsíci

      It shouldn't take put 5-7 bleeds through the slave with the slipper off the 5-7 bleeds with the car slipper turned on.

    • @N3ZFAB
      @N3ZFAB  Před 10 měsíci

      It shouldn't take but 5-7 bleeds through the slave cylinder with the slipper off and then 5-7 bleeds with the slipper turned on. How goes the clutch pedal feel? If you have good pedal pressure you might need to adjust your master cylinder.
