Ingredients:
Thur dhal - 1/2 cup
Small onion-3/4 cup 0r 100 gms
Finely chopped small onions-10
Tomatoes -3
Tamarind - little
Mustard - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Coriander - as required
Asafoetida- as required
To grind :
Chana dhal -2 tsp
Coriander seeds / Dhaniya -11/2 tsp
Red chillies -7
Kashmiri chillies -5
Fenugreek1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste

Mam, I'm your fan. I have a tip for this sambar. While frying coriander seed, if you add 7 to 8 small onions fry it well and you can grind. Since we are from kerala, we ll add coconut but that is optional.
