  • The plaintiff claims she was raped in the military, and the defendant, her son, is a product of that assault. The plaintiff loaned her son money 16 different times for personal expenses, but he hasn’t paid her back, so the plaintiff is suing her son. The defendant insists the plaintiff is controlling and denies owing his mother anything.

My father would jerk me out of bed and beat me. My mother, for some unknown reason, threw boiling water in my face. I still have problems with my skin because of it and I am 74 right now. *”I’m sorry it had to happen the way it did”* doesn’t quite cut it young man, and it’s not an apology. You literally stood in front of this judge, and the world, and lied about your mother loaning you money. Either you didn’t mean it when you texted it to her, or you just didn’t think she would keep the text. Things didn’t have to happen the way that they did, so take responsibility for your role. You’re a very smart young man though, I wish you and your mom the best.

This woman has really survived and been through alot so much. From the military life up till now. it is by the grace of God she survived it till this moment. Some women would not be able to survive it and stand strong like the way she's doing. As a reminder, mother's stop spoiling your kids even after when they are grown whether male or female. Because, when this type of issues arises, it becomes an inevitable circumstances to receive back. Brothers and sisters, stop collecting money from your parents and end up not wanting to pay back because, you know nothing can happen. But when they end up chasing you away from the house, you start calling them names and saying they are wicked. If this happened in some Africa countries, you dare not owe your parents and come out to say you won't pay back. You will get flogged. After they are done flogging you, you will remember that KAKI NO BE LEATHER.

He is very intelligent and well spoken, and I pray that he is able to appreciate his mom and all the adversity she had to overcome to raise him and break all the generational trauma she experienced. He has no idea how blessed he is to have been raised unscathed from everything she endured. Much of what she went through would have broken the average person, and it is nothing but the grace of God she is there standing. I pray both hearts are accepting of reconciliation and the opportunity to heal and grow their relationship. Sad beginning but a beautiful ending❤️

It's amazing that she survived all these traumas and went on to raise her son as she did with love and care. I think parents should never loan money to their kids with the expectation of getting it back. Only give what you can, observe their behaviors, and use it as a teaching moment. Reward them if they keep their words and give them tough love if they don't repay and come back to ask for more. But don't give an amount that'll make you cut ties.
