The man was fully aware that Ron was looking forward to a good steak, and then tried to feed him big grilled mushrooms like it was the same thing. Disrespect at its finest.
He does that all the time because it’s healthier. He literally was told to bring a cake to a party and instead he made a loaf of vegetables and Ron was pissed off again. “Not only does this exist, you have also deprived us of cake.”

Vegans and health food nuts are two people that I am greatly displeased by their very existence, but I know that it would trouble me far too much to do anything about them except quite possibly sit down with the biggest juiciest plate of steaks I can find and eat it right in front of them. the amount of salt in the air will be enough to preserve five deceased bodies.

It’s like being told you were getting Chicken Parmigiana and getting a frozen chicken tender with American cheese and ketchup. Even then, you’d at least have the bare minimum of what you were expecting. Giving a man like Ron a grilled mushroom when he was expecting a steak isn’t just misleading, it’s almost offensive.
Not to mention Chris pulled a low blow on Ron. Healthier option implies that there are other options. If there is only one option, then it isn't an option

I can honestly feel Ron's pain. I felt the same when Moishe's in Montreal shut down. A sirloin and a Monte Carlo potato with fried liver and onions for starters was my go to birthday meal for ages.

Same except with me it was a Pho place, it was a bit of a drive away but all my friends loved it, my dad and my brothers loved it as well, they had an amazing pho bowl, it was massive with shrimp, chicken, fish patties and assorted veggies. As soon as the pandemic happened they immediately shut down, when I realized they packed and left I was heartbroken. Luckily they have a sister location but the city it's in is a bit farther but I'm pretty sure they're still open
Same there was this shithole diner I lived by my entire life that was locally owned one day during covid I went to call for a takeout order and they were out of buisness I almost cried
It is weird....I am American, but not the biggest fan of French Fries. There was this place called "Neptune's Net," on the beach, that made the best STEAK FRIES EVER!!! (big, thick, crunchy on the outside, soft and burning hot on inside).
I hadn't been in years, went back....new ownership, store bought crinkle cut fries. Terrible....never been back since

Ron freaking out after he saw that Mulligan's had shut is how I felt when the last remaining Sizzler in Australia, which was in my home town, closed down forever in 2020. It's a shattering feeling when your favorite restaurants leave you.

It was like back in the day when Chili's took the tuna steak sandwich off their menu. I went there specifically for my favorite thing on earth, and when the waitress said they no longer have it, I nearly lost my mind. I hadn't even looked at the menu, lol.
Here in the state of Washington, we had a really great place called Flamin' Joe's. Now my step dad loved this place. Had 5 photos of him on their wall of fame for enduring their hot wing challenge. So last month for Father's day, my mom and I were taking him to the restaurant when we discovered that it was closed. The owner was caught in a drug operation and had sold the restaurant. My step father is a stoic man... but when I saw him cry that day, I knew it was true heartbreak.

@@jaimerivera1898 If the question is to why actors spit out food: it's because if a scene involves the consumption of food, then the actors would need to spit the food out in a concealed bucket inbetween takes (especially if the scene requires multiple takes) to avoid the actors getting sick. Chris Pratt being able to eat all the food for every take just shows how big an appetite he's got.
