    I just put these on my truck this afternoon - went from Fox 2.0 to 2.5 (I had a feeling and it was confirmed I have a bad Fox 2.0 shock, with 27k miles maybe on the shocks and never off-road, not even on a gravel road, pretty disappointing)
    If you are doing this yourself, and you are using jack stands, which I am sure most people will be using that want to tackle this themselves. Put the shock in the lower mount first, it is A LOT easier to compress the shock down with your weight than press up, I was trying to do it the video has it and it was awful, after 30 minutes of fooling around I did it the way I mentioned and I had it mounted in 30 seconds. I had a good laugh at myself but trust me, if you are doing this yourself, you will want to do it this way.
    Wish someone would have mentioned this as it will save you a lot of time and a lot of aggravation.
    BTW I have a 2017 F150 torque specs are 66 pounds for the top and bottom bolts. That is OEM. From everything I have read Fox is the same.

    Which ones are better these or the icon 2.5's for daily street driving

      For daily street driving these Fox 2.5 shocks are exactly what you want.

      What if I have the icon coilovers and icon UCA's up front

    • @stage3motorsports
      @stage3motorsports  Před 5 lety

      Then the Icon's would probably be a better option just to keep everything in line, both of these kits are very similar.

    You said you had ICON 2.5 up front? If so, I have the same setup. What is the true extended length? I know manufacture put "abc" and rarely is the case. Let me know please. Thanks

    How are they for the weekend warrior that daily drives his truck during the week? Are they overly firm? Our plush enough for the road?

    • @stage3motorsports
      @stage3motorsports  Před 6 lety +2

      I would say they are good for daily use as well. We have put a lot of miles on and off road on the Fox 2.5 setup. They ride great on the street and absorb bumps like they're nothing. If you are looking for something that feels like it rides on a cloud like the stock setup, this is not that. But definitely not overly firm by any means

      @@stage3motorsports Which would be a plusher ride: Fox 2.0 or these Fox 2.5 with Redis, or Kings? I have F250 with 4 inch lift.

      @stage3motorsports  Před 5 lety +1

      We haven't gotten our chance to test a set of kings to say which would be plusher but the fox 2.5's are incredible @@sharps9514

      Stage 3 Motorsports Thank you my truck is 2017 Roush F150 it has Fox 2.0 Suspension installed by Roush but I want to go with 2.5 in the rear. Also I was wondering if ICON Delta Joint Tubular Upper Control Arm Kit will fit my truck with the wheels and tires that are installed on the truck right now. Front has Fox 2.0 Coilovers with Mickey Thompson 20X9 +18mm offset wheels with Mickey Thompson 305/55R20 tires
